New to the site and navigating confusing symptoms from teh USA
I’m new to this site, 37 and living in the USA. Probably like many of you, I’ve found this site from hours of research on my bizarre symptoms. I’ve been diagnosed with "suspected PA", not because I lack intrinsic factor, but because I tested positive for partial cell IGG antibodies. Starting in January

Does Anyone Have Expanded Bile Ducts?
According to my last several imaging tests I have an expanded bile duct. Is this normal for the disease? I am scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound in a few weeks to take a better look at it. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any thing they can do for it? Or are we just spending

Is a Hiatus hernia related to my systemic sclerosis?
Hello I suffer with limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis. Due to swallowing problems, heartburn and acid I had an endoscopy where they discovered a sliding hiatus hernia. Are these connected to the disease? Many thanks X

Stomach problems
Hi, I've started to SI once a week about 3,5 months ago. I went downhill very fast (existing symptoms getting worse) after our move to Singapore. Somehow, my body can't deal with the climate and I get joint/muscles aches/inflammation all over my body and my knees get very tired very quick. But I think

Omeprazole and hypo symptoms
Hi, I just wanted to ask for some advice as recently (over last 10 months) I’ve been experiencing real discomfort in my stomach and was prescribed omeprazole. This seems to really help but recently it’s got a lot worse if I forget to take it. I ended up going for an endoscopy and they diagnosed Oesophagitis

New to fatty liver with tons of questions
Hello, I was recently diagnosed with fatty liver disease. It took a while to figure out what was the cause but basically I've had intermittent very light pain on my right side for almost 10 years (31yrs old now) and it always seemed around holidays or when on vacation but always went away. I never thought

Told it is not GCA
Ok I have had enough this is getting harder by the day. MyPERFECT eye doctor called me yesterday and told me to go back to my primary doctor because I should not have jaw pain or slight headache at 30 mgs prednisone. So now I am supposed to go in and let them find out what is wrong as he doesn’t

More bad news "Hiatus Hernia"
Hi everyone, yesterday I had an endoscope shoved down my gut to see why I was regergating my food and yup hiatus hernia. Cant say I'm happy about it but at least its been diagnosed as I have been getting acid reflux on and off for over 30 years. This has stopped since eating a plant based diet but if

Overmedicated?
Just got my latest test results back. I've been feeling off (not that I've ever been well since my diagnosis) but worse than usual. I have a burning tongue, body aches and worsening nerve tingles and burning in my hands and even groin area too (that's new). I've had a increased appetite and looser stools

Pernicious Anaemia, PVC's and Atria Fibrillation
I've been suffering with low B12, PVC's and AF for a number of years. I decided to switch to self injection around 3 years ago, due to the local GP's not offering anything more than 4 a year after loading. Had a number of symptoms, some still remain. I also switched to more regular self injections,

Intestine resection surgery
Thirty-seven years ago I had intestine resection surgery because of Crohn’s disease. Recently I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. There were no signs of Crohn’s or colitis. Still I have symptoms of Crohn’s. Because of the shorting of the intestinal tract I have persistent diarrhea. Imodium AD helps

Dr said fatty liver newly diagnosed
Hello, I am new here. I have been having pain on my right side slightly under my breast area for over a year. Did the ultrasound last week, as the pain is getting more frequent. The US test results came in and indicated: “liver pattern favoring steatosis”. Which the PCP said was a fatty liver
