Please help before I go crazy.
On April 25th I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Both normal. I’ve been having abdominal cramps and some food in my stool for a while now. Pepper and lately potatoes. Sorry for the tmi. Is this normal? I don’t see gastro until September now. My gastro doctor said I probably have ibs? Does anyone else

Anxiety Medication
Hi all. I have been on a journey for a diagnosis for about a year now. Both my GP and Gastroenterologist have determined that it's anxiety/stress that is triggering my symptoms, as my endoscopy, colonoscopy, and blood tests were clear. Now I'm considering anxiety meds/herbs for anxiety. Is anyone here

advice needed gastro bleed on Apixoban
My ferritin level is low and because I am on Apixoban (3 years without any problems) my GP has gone straight to investigations. Colonscopy and Endoscopy. I have not had these yet and am not keen as my Hb and other bloods are normal. Has anyone had a gastro bleed whilst on Apixoban and what are the symptoms

Anyone dealt with this before?
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light or has gone through something similar? This might be TMI but thought it was better to be specific! I have been suffering with horrible periods since I got my first one at 12. I often get quite bad pains and heavy bleeding I sometimes

How conclusive is endoscopy?
Hi again guys! I saw the gastro today who was as helpful as every other consultant I have seen telling me that a b12 level of 197 (normal range over 200) "wasn't a deficiency" (despite saying my iron was low when in proportion it is higher in ref ranges than my b12?!) and had no answer to the fact my

Are stool tests reliable?
after two months of a volatile stomach from Flucloaxillin I got round to having a H.pylori test and a stool test, all came back clear - do you guys know what I'm clear of? I understand that IBD, CDIFF and Bacterial infection are tested, am I safe?

Surreal
I have had this strange "full...somethings not right" feeling in my stomach region (under diaphram but middle and on my left side for over 1.5 years. It had been mostly off and on, urgent care, ER, drs...colonoscopy when an endoscopy would have been more logical per area of "uncomfortableness". Just

I have random symptoms that I have been trying to piece together for a year now
Hello, I am a 26 year old female. When I was 17 I was diagnosed with a genetic mutation called MTHFR which they found through a b-12 deficiency (I tested 70 with a range of 200-900). Doctor said as long as I consistently took vitamins throughout my life I would be fine. Now almost ten years later (still

Hi guys. I have been on mirtazepine since February. I stopped it for about a week and a half and went back on it after they upped my restless leg tablet as it caused really bad restless legs. Latest labs look good?
Here's the deal. I've felt terrible since June 2017 when I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. I likely had Hashimotos for many years prior but wasn't ever diagnosed. At the time of dx, my TSH was over 100 and free levels were tanked. Symptoms flooded in over the following months including crushing

Endoscopy results from 8/3/18
Finally got my endoscopy results back after asking quite a bit. They didn’t release then biopsy results so I emailed and asked them to do this as well. Confirmed: non erosive gastritis in whole stomach and white speckles in whole duodenum. Gastro doc was pretty confident that I didn’t have H pylori

IBS after returning from holiday
So after returning from a holiday to Ghana last year I had a dodgy stomach with diahhrea and a loud stomach for nearly 3 weeks. Initially they tested me for parasite infection which was clear...then after a few months they tested me for H.pylori which was positive. Triple therapy resulted in the return

The dreaded endoscope appointment
Hi again everyone I seem to have gone from a lurker to a serial poster recently ! Today the dreaded Endoscope appointment letter popped through the letterbox. I knew it was coming at some point soon as consultant told me after my US and Fibroscan. What has slightly alarmed me is the enclosed pamphlet
