stomach acid
I don't understand this stomach acid 'thing'. I take a proton pump inhibitor for high stomach acid but people insist that as you get older you're stomach acid reduce. I'm 79. Also that doctors erroneously mistake low stomach acid for high!! What is going on? Any thoughts

Hello, I am not too sure where to start, so much has happened. I am a 50 year-old female. A couple of years ago, I had a pain in my abdomen on the right side and my stools became orange. The GP sent me for an ultrasound where they saw I had polyps on my gallbladder. The GP phoned me on the 31st Dec to

Hi, I've just had my third colonoscopy and I found it very painful. I was in agony during various times of it being done. I managed to get a report (some pictures this time too!) On the report they wrote for the procedure discomfort: Mild: More than 2 episodes of discomfort without distress. On my report

Anyone had this on their endoscopy report? I was told I had mild gastitis,I have a small hiatus hernia although they didn't mention that, said that esophagus seemed ok and no inflammation, could the hernia cause an irregular z line?

Chronic Liver Disease Post Transplant
Hi, I had a liver transplant in October 2017 and apart from a little set back right at the beginning, meaning I was in Addenbrookes for 5 weeks, I have been really well. I haven’t even had Covid! However a couple of months ago, I had a CT scan which showed that I have chronic liver disease. To say

PA/stomach pain
Hi all, I’m so grateful for all of your support as I’ve started down this road. Got diagnosed with PA/AIG in the fall via an endoscopy. I am on B12 injections. My stomach pain has gotten steadily worse instead of better even though I am on a very restrictive diet. Is there any reason for me to believe
