Colonoscopy and Endoscopy
Hey guys. They were able to do the procedures and the Dr said that everything went well. He handed the varicies so they're taken care of for another year hopefully. He removed three large polyps and sent them to pathology. They said everything went smoothly do that's a load off my mind. Next is MRI on

Procedure Today Hopefully
Good morning. I'm sitting in outpatient surgery waiting room. Jimmy's supposed to have colonoscopy and endoscopy this morning. He didn't do well with prep and not having his nausea and pain meds this morning so I'm hoping they are able to do it. He's been having some pain in his esophagus area so I worry

Hell in a handcart
Possibly paranoid post and definitely not cheerful. Start with a humbling positive, have been called for a follow up endoscopy on a Sunday! The "stomach team" are helping out to clear an endoscopy back log at my local hospital (Stoke Mandeville of regrettably Jimmy Saville fame) Am very grateful and

Ball of trapped wind in my chest, stretch or will this get better? 8 months post IL
I spoke to my consultant at my last check up and he discussed having an endoscopy and a stretch. I’ve recently stopped having milk and the horrid feeling of pressure in my chest has got better but not gone. I still feel like I swallow air all the time. So my question is if you’ve had this does it get

Thought I would share a funny story
Following a period of weight loss which sees me down to 42 kilo, my GP referred me to our local hospital 🏥. It was arranged for me to have an endoscopy and the literature all confirmed that the tube would be inserted down my throat so that they could have a little look round my stomach to see whether

First Capsule Endoscopy
I got there at 6:30am, swallowed the pillcam at 8:10am with 0.6g simethicone, was fitted with patches, records for 8 hours so it will end around 3:30-4pm. I have a paper to note “eating, drinking, and unusual sensations.” I am feeling a lot of pain in general, so, I am a bit nervous for what qualifies

Acid Reflux / TMJ
Currently had Acid Reflux for 11 months....taken omeprazole and now on lanzaprazole...neither which seem to work. I have went gluten free as bread seemed to be a trigger but no luck in clearing symptoms. I am getting a endoscopy in a few weeks as the specialist believes it may be a hiatal hernia. Added

Symptoms
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone experiences MS like symptoms? Weakness in arms and legs, internal tremors, emotional/mental issues. I almost have seizure like activity in my brain though I don’t have convulsions or anything. I had a Brain MRI 11 months ago. I had full blood work, head cat scan

Heart problems = adrenal tumour
So it seems they’ve finally found an answer to my ongoing heart and other problems. For the past 21 months, I’ve recurrent episodes of heart-related symptoms: chest pain, tachycardia, palpitations, and one episode of elevated troponin (but no heart attack). These episodes have been accompanied by sky-rocketing

Doctor recommendation in the UK
Hi all, A young man in London, UK reached out to us recently looking for help. He is in a lot of pain and suspects pancreatitis but doctors seem uninterested and refuse to perform an endoscopy. Looking to contact a doctor who can listen to this young man and help him receive the care he needs. Preferably

Celiac or not
Hi folks, wonder if anyone can explain my concerns. I was diagnosed with celiac in 2020 through a blood test, the endoscopy showed normal upper tract. I had another blood test in August this year, when I was the nurse for my b12 injection I asked her about the results, and she kindly printed them off
