Gastroenteritis poo - how long to recover?
I think I've had gastroenteritis. The dr reckons it's led to post infective IBS. I think I had Covid that started it. My poos are like yellow liquid at the mo. Tried live yoghurt today. What is gastroenteritis. poo like? How long did you have it for? What helped?

Two positive IFA tests, one negative. But positives were all about an hour after receiving b12 injections?
I had low b12, at 156. They gave me the injection. About an hour later they drew my blood and I was pos for IFA but neg for PA. I had an endoscopy and had no atrophic gastritis, so was given another IF test and this time was neg. Went to a new Dr and she gave me a b12 shot, and about 45 minutes later

Silent reflux
I was referred to ENT 4 months after first visiting the GP with a sore throat and node. Had appointment last week. The ENT Dr felt my neck and used a small endoscope inserted into my nose. He said I have silent reflux and advised me to increase my Omeprazole from 20mg daily to 20mg twice daily plus Gaviscon

Fibroscan numbers
Hello Folks, I'm getting a fibroscan done on Tuesday, my first time. My doctor and specialist said they don't think I have anything as serious as cirrhosis, given that my last three ultrasounds done jn 2021, 2023 and August 13, 2024 all showed the same thing: grade 1 steatosis (mild fatty liver) with

Dr wants to do endoscopy in 8 weeks time to see if infection has gone. Won't blood tests, and lack of pain tell him that? What are the benefits of an endoscopy?

Hi Out There! I began having steatorrhea 10 years ago while taking care of my ex-husband who was dying of metastasized lung cancer. After his radiation treatments he liked to go to a certain breakfast style restaurant, and I had no idea that French toast could be so devastating to my body! I saw a doctor

My ribs are close together and my liver is placed higher in my abdomen than usual. I was advised that the result
