Well everyone I go for a endoscopy next week on the 21st. I was upset when the doctor said I would have to have it done. I had pushed it to the back of my mind after that because well,I felt I had quiet a bit of time before it as to be done. Sadly the time snuck up on me very quickly, now I'm getting

He has had difficulty swallowing for about 4mths and had Barium Swallow done which came back clear but biopsy during endoscopy found he has SCC cancer. Dr says Barium Swallow didn’t show as the cancer is up high (20cm from his jaw) & also very close

Mr J A. I have had a ct scan with contrast dye of my abdomen. Been now called for an endoscope procedure. Previous endoscope, 18 months ago clear but told I had compensated cirrhosis. What might they now be looking for?

What are these tests? Anyone know?
Next week I've got an Oesophageal manometry and 24hr ph and impedance test? Sounds fun right! Any idea what these involve, are they painful? I can't eat 6 hrs prior, I'm assuming that's so I dont throw up. I can't imagine they can be worse than the endoscopy though. The lady on the phone said I'd be

Need advice
I’m 19 and was diagnosed with a b12 deficiency last year. My levels where below 100. So really low, I felt so ill. I had numerous tests to find out why I had this deficiency, I had the PA test 3 times just to be sure they all came back negative. I’ve had every blood test imaginable everything is normal

Fibromyalgia and hiatus hernia
Hello I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on a link between fibromyalgia and HH? I’m not sure if there’s been any research on a link, but feel that my tummy troubles are getting worse, and a recent endoscopy and colonoscopy revealed a sliding hiatus hernia. Biopsies have been sent off for anything

SULPHITES
I was diagnosed by endoscopy in 1999 after years of being told I had IBS and eating masses of Rennies daily. My gut is v sensitive and recently I feel much better for not eating GF baked goods or drinking wine I am pretty sure this is because I am getting rid of sulphites from my diet, has anyone else

Blood in mouth
Hi, hubby is 18 months post total gastrectomy and 12 months post ECX chemo after the operation. In the last few weeks/months he has ocassionally woken to find a small quantity of blood on his pillow or shirt if he has fallen asleep in the chair. Unfortunately I haven’t been there when this has happened

Possible Behcets? HELP.
I'm going crazy, I'm convinced of it. No doctor has been able to figure out what is wrong with me even though they can see visible symptoms. I've been passed around from Lupus, Crohn's, and even "viral" related sickness. I recently started researching and found myself VERY curious if I could have Behcet's

Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Had cryptosporidium. Now stool change, noisy stomach + burning. Help!
Hello. Thank you in advance for responding to my long post. I've had IBS for as long as I can remember. This past October, the dizziness and nausea started up and kept going all winter. Could have been part of a virus that revealed itself in November. I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy mid January

Has anyone experienced this awful gastroenteritis that's around at present. This is week 3 for me and I can't get it to clear up. Saw my doc at week 2 and she said it would just take it's course. I keep getting the diarrhoea and stomach pains back when I think it's gone. When will it end I'm so fed up
