What’s your longest flare up??
Hi all, just out of interest how long has a flare up of your IBS lasted?, I’m into 7 months of horror now and don’t know how much more I can take. I’ve had so many test colonoscopy, endoscopy, ultra sound, stool test, blood test, ct scan of stomach, chest and pelvis and though I have some issues discovered

Do this symptoms look like IBS or something else?
I know i asked before but just wondered anyone out there experiencing what I am? As i am not convinced it is IBS or SIBO. I had a positive SIBO reading but trying to cure it via natural diet rather than antibiotics because i'm worried about that they might have been responsible in the first place. But

Hypersensitivity -- any help would be appreciated (if you've been told you have this or suggestions for if I'm on the right path)!
I just completed a Bronchoscopy. The doctor told me that when the scope nudged some mucous in my lungs that there was a strong reaction that suggests hypersensitivity. Has anyone been told they have hypersensitivity such as this and if so, what did you do or take? They said I should keep a

Diarrhoea and constipation
Hi there I’ve had diarrhoea for a week with upper left near centre pain. Now today I’ve still got the same pain but I seem to be constipated. I haven’t eaten anything with fibre (except porridge) to try and stop diarrhoea. I’ve had an endoscopy and a QFit test in the past month and both were fine.

Omeprazole
Morning all. I was taking omeprazole for stomach acid for around 3 months. This eased the symptoms greatly and the doctor took me off them. The acid came back so I was put back on them. Same thing happened again and I was off them. I went for an endoscopy and I had an ulcer so I was prescribed

Endoscopy
Good morning all. I recently got diagnosed with oesophagitis and a stomach ulcer. Do any of you have any tips or advice as I haven’t really had any results from the doctor who referred me. All I’ve had is a copy of what the doctor who did the endoscopy gave me and didn’t explain.

Advice required - New to thyroid problems
I became unwell about 4 years ago when my periods stopped . I thought it was menopause at first, but then I began to experience distinctly non menopausal issues. These included joint pain, numbness and tingling in my fingers, brain fog and physical fatigue, sleep disruption, abdo pain, raynauds, tinnitus

Iron deficiency
Diagnosed with iron deficiency Anamia in 3/2020, prescribed ferrous sulfate 200mg twice a day. Had colonoscopy, endoscopy, no issue found. Chemist told me to take tablet with orange juice & after food. But I have to go to toilet 7 times with loose stool. Any suggestions?

Varices bleeds with no warning signs?
Hubby had his first esophageal bleed on October 18. Two bands required., one unit of blood. On the 31st he has another bleed but this was not a varices, but angiodysplasia! According to the endoscopy report, there were no varices present. Two more units of blood. Last evening another varices bleed. Not

Upper quadrant pain despite good results
Hi Everyone, I am sorry for a long post but I am just trying to give a full picture of my condition. For around last 4 years I suffer from upper right abdominal pain. This was checked on ultrasounds on few occasions and MRCP scan was also done. All they could ever find is small haemangioma on the left

Anaemia and PMR/GCA
I am new here and this has probably come up before but I am trying to find out if there is a connection between PMR/GCA (they are not sure which I have) and anaemia - my Hb was 70 - I was given 2 bags of blood back in March (at start of lockdown!!) and have been on 3x210g of ferrous fumarate a day since

Fighting to be Heard
Someone in Fatty Liver sent me here. I've been fighting for answers, researching, and trying to get a handle on my declining health. Only 54 and I feel and act 70 something. Does any of this sound familiar? 18 years ago my gall bladder was removed. Never any stones, but stopped working. (3 years of

Mystery Symptoms - Anyone Else?
Hi everyone, I could really use your help. I experience burning in the stomach along with reflux, and usually mild sweating too, nearly every night between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. It wakes me up to the point that I am unable to go back to sleep and has been going on for over 4 years. Needles to say
