Problems after endoscopy
Had an endoscopy 2 weeks ago, and have been getting intermittent stabbing chest pains. Spoke to Gp this morning who thinks it’s probably my hiatus hernia playing up. Says can happen after endoscopy, and can take 2 to 6 weeks to settle down😩. Has anyone else had this? It’s stressing me out, and is so

Dropping B12
Last April I had a B12 test done and the Dr actually rang me and told me I had low B12, very low B12, it was 57. So I had a course of the 5 injections and was advised to just take b12 supplements and eat more meat. In September there was no real improvement and i was tested again and my reading was 165

Bit of an update and maybe some more advice
Hi again, I posted a month ago and said I would update. I decided to wait until I had a clearer picture (although it feels I haven't quite) and would like to perhaps get your thoughts!? So following the endoscopy and colonoscopy after a suspected stomach bleed which showed no problems, I did decide

Hi, My son finally had his endoscopy yesterday. The paperwork he had from the consultant said everything looked normal but have to wait for 4 biopsies which is going to take approx 4 weeks. They took repeat bloods. His Ttg level was 57 when he had his last ones in July and had b12 deficiency. My question

Hiatal Hernia & Gerd now worse due to SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth)
I have had a hiatal hernia and GERD for years. Took PPIs such as omeprazole for years but then developed SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). PPIs can be a causative item for SIBO so I've gone off them. I beat the SIBO but it (I suspect) has come back and one of the symptoms is swelling which

Inlet Patch - Throat Phlegm
So after months of waiting i finally had my endoscope appointment. It showed everything was mostly normal in esophagus and stomach. It did however show something called an 'Inlet Patch' in my throat. Has anyone else come across this? Apparently its a patch of skin that is like stomach skin and has been

Endoscopy
I'm having an endoscopy this week and to prep I've been given a list of foods to avoid for 3 days. Needless to say most of these are what a vegan eats! anyone been through this and found a reasonable list of foods I can eat? So far all I can see to eat is white rice, bread & pasta. Potatoes without skins

PA and hiatal hernia
I was diagnosed with PA on my first antibody test 3 years ago. It was good because I was getting ruled out for everything from MS to a brain tumor. I self inject b-12. I was overdue for a colonoscopy and endoscopy was advised since I would already be prepped. She did see a hiatal hernia which I was pretty

Endoscopy after finding out about Low b12
Hi, just wondering do you guys have any experience with this? I have an under active thyroid and during the recent review I stated that I was also having mouth sores. Anyway, after the blood test, I was told I had low b12. So, I was sent for another blood test and stool sample and have now been told
