Chi machine?
Has anyone used a Chi Machine? A man at my church who has Parkinson's said he used to use the machine to help him sleep. (He had Deep Brain Stimulation and is now doing really well. No more tremors and his sleep is much better so it sounds like he doesn't use the Chi Machine any more.)

I had today my 3 months phone consultation with Prof. J. (one month later). He saw my videos, with and without levodopa e said that i was "very close to normal". Indeed, sometimes i feel close to normal, not everyday, not every hour, but especially in the morning i feel like that. I am able to run again

Do brain implants (like DBS) change your personality?
From the New Yorker Magazine For the great majority of patients, deep-brain stimulation was beneficial and life-changing, but there were occasional reports of strange behavioral reactions, such as hypomania and hypersexuality. Then, in 2006, a French team published a study about the unexpected consequences

Hi I have just joined this network this evening. I haven’t actually been diagnosed with IBS-D. It all started a couple of years when I was running to the loo literally 7 times a day this went on for a few months in which time I lost 2 stone. I had numerous tests and a colonoscopy nothing was found no

Next step regarding underactive thyroid
Hi all, I hope everyone is staying safe. I am looking for some advice regarding next steps with an underactive thyroid (previous post below which I received great feedback on). I have seen no improvement in symptoms since the end of March (last blood results). I have continued on the same dosage of thyroxine

Gluten-free diet
I’ve been told to try a gluten-free diet but most gluten free foods have rice flour in them which I can’t have either. What should I do?

Calf pain
Hey so I've been doing C25k for 6 weeks now and was due to run the last leg of W6 this morning, but I didn't because my left calf is in pain. It is very sore and feels tight (kinda always do tbh!) it's ok-ish to walk on but I didn't want to run risk of further injury by running non stop for 25 minutes
