Finished with all surgeries, finally!!!
I was diagnosed with stage 2 infiltrating ductile carcinoma in September 2012 just a few weeks before my wedding. I was encouraged to go ahead with the wedding and the honey moon, so we shared vows on 10/15/2012 and I had my first lumpectomy on 10/25/11. I was advised to take an aggressive approach

Flying out of this deep freeze
My son just called his father about something all I asked was what is your temperature. He said 57*F I am so HAPPY 😀 it’s going to be so good since our temperature is the high of 1*F. I am going stir crazy 😜 no one is letting me go out side even the woman who does my hair. She called me and told me

Follow up after diagnosis
Hi. Im new here. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease 4 months ago. I have been seen by a dietitian and have been following a strict gluten free diet. What is the next stage in follow up appointments and is everyone offered a bone density scan ? Just a bit in the dark of what happens after diagnosis.

Cold, fresh 10
Has been a
deep
freeze
here for the last week, but we had another blanket of snow last night which seemed to warm the air a little. It was -10 when I headed out this morn and it was a bit difficult to breathe through my balaclava ( forgot I even had one until today).

Post DBS Surgery
This post marks is to mark 12 weeks from surgery date of December 15, 2017. It seems like a long time ago that they wheeled me into the operating room to begin what was to be the best day of my life. I mark time as before surgery and now. Before surgery was spent in my beloved blue chair looking out

I hate cold weather
Hey guys, Like many of you, we here in Northern Kentucky have been in the
deep
freeze
since just before Christmas. Our average high has been in the upper teens and it hasn’t been unusual for the lows to be well below zero.

Coeliac test with gluten diet for Hashimotos person? Help
My Gp has today mentioned repeating a Coeliac test as he thinks I might have this. However I am gluten free and this test requires you to be on a full gluten diet which will make me very unwell as I also have Hashimotos which benefits from a gluten free diet. Any advice? :(

Hello friends
I've been on my gluten free diet for a while now and my fatigue is improving and my bathroom problems are improving. But my stomach is still huge and I feel like it's getting bigger. I'm thinking is it because I'm not on the lactose free diet - I have bin told I'm lactose intolerant
