Back ache, hamstring, old age or all 3!
Just completed W7R3, took a while to get into it as haven't run for a week, legs are fine, but just above the backside was aching, any ideas? hamstring perhaps or just plain old age with a bit of Christmas weight thrown in! Either way I don't really want to put deep heat on as I might upset the household

Medicheck Result - disappointed
Results back from medicheck, and everything is still borderline. I keep to a gluten free diet. I'm really at a lost, I'm always tired and I easily pick up infections or viruses. I'm now 35, in the past 15yrs I've had shingles, Henoch-Schönlein purpura, stomach ulcer and had a triple ankle break not counting

Steady decline in GFR
I am a 48 year old very active health conscious woman. I found out I had CKD almost a year ago. Still not sure what's causing it. Have an appointment with a new Dr. Feb 12th. My Gfr was pretty steady at 44 and the last 3 months has been declining 4 points per month. It's 32 as of my last test. For

Going round in circles
I have another appointment at my GP today (having seen them at least once a week for the past 2 months) to try and sort my pain levels out. I suffer with chronic back, hip and joint pain - no official diagnosis as of yet but GP is worried about the instability of my hip joint. It clunks out of place

So bloated I can dress normal
For the past year or so I've become bloated 24 hours a day. So much that trying to button pants or wear belts cause great pain. I have a constant, dull pain all the time. If I even rest my hands or arms on my stomach it becomes very uncomfortable. I've had my gall bladder removed to no avail. I was

2019: Will Medicare Cover Parkinson's ?
Here's where we stand as noted by Kirk Hall in his blog www.shakypawsgrampa.com. (Of course who knows what will happen over the next two years with the idiot in the Whitehouse backed by gutless members of the POT). Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a challenging condition as it is, but the fact that it is

DBS hybrid: Medtronic leads with Boston Scientific stimulator
I have had effective control of my motor complaints of dystonia and dyskinesia for 4 years with the standard Medtronic unit implanted in my globus pallidus internus. The battery life has been limited due to the high output of 2.7 &4.8. I managed to get 30 months out of the initial battery but at current

Rapid Iron Depletion
Hi everyone, I'm wondering what can cause iron to drop quickly after infusions...? Blood loss has been ruled out. I have P. A. , Celiac Disease and chronic iron deficiency. I was severely anemic for years and had over a dozen infusions stretched out over 13mos in 2016-17. Those only got my hemoglobin
