Dairy/gluten free diet
Hi. Considering trying a dairy and/or gluten free diet to see if that helps. Has anyone tried this? And if so did it help?! Thanks.

"Trust Me, I'm a Doctor" BBC 2, 8pm tonight looks at whether going gluten free is beneficial
Have been following a strict gluten-free diet for the last couple of years so will be interested to see what they have to say.

Hello from the US
Am looking for the cure for Hashimoto's! Have a wonderful Dr. in Tulsa Oklahoma - I drive 500 miles to see him. (Dr. Wootan at Jenks Health Team) Although many Dr.s have bad things to say about him, he has helped me and many others when the so called "experts" / endocrinologists failed. He is a proponent

From 2000 people with Hashimoto's- the nine most helpful strategies.
This is an email I received from Isabella Wentz. 'After implementing carefully researched lifestyle changes, I was able to see a tremendous improvement in my health. I decided to summarize my research an improvements in my book, Hashimoto's the Root Cause in 2013. When I initially published the book

Help with Blood Test Results
Good Morning, I have just been back to my endocrinologist as, after feeling really good for the longest time, I was feeling really lousy and after getting my test results back I understand why. These are the latest lab results with ranges. I have Hashimotos and my current daily medication is: 50mcg

gluten free
I have posted before wondering about the effectiveness of following a gluten free diet. I have been working on it this summer and have been almost gluten free for two months. Honestly, there were a couple of lapses, but primarily gluten free. I went to Maine and couldn't not have a lobster roll.

Hoping for help with blood tests
I would really appreciate some help on these blood test results. I can see FT3 is way down, but my FT4 looks a bit higher than I would have expected with that FT3 result. Am I wrong on this, or does it possibly indicate a conversion problem? It looks to me as if my Vitamin D is sub-optimal (it hasn

Previous episode of hyperthyroid but now hypo
In 2006 I had an over active thyroid which I had treatment for for about 3 months. I had gained 2 stone in weight (one of the small percentage of people who gain rather than lose with hyper) and was so trembly I couldn't write. I thought I was going through the menopause as was always burning up. It

BH blood test results - grateful for advice please
I recently posted for the first time and your responses were extremely helpful. Following on from your advice I requested a Vit D and a T4 test but was told by my GP that I had already had my fair share of blood tests and my results are perfect anyway! I decided to use the thyroid + 11 test from BH and
