Are Deep Heat patches safe to use if you have non allergic asthma? The GP didn't know and said you can try it but on the internet it says asthmatics avoid.

Deep Heat Patch
If you're ok with the ingredients (eg ibuprofen) then they'll be fine I would think. If you can't have any of the ingredients (ie actually can't rather than it says asthmatics can't in general as it's a personal thing - some people with asthma are fine with ibuprofen for example) then I'd avoid them personally.
The type of asthma will be irrelevant, but what they contain might be an issue for some people.
Edit: just realised you mean patches not the cream, sorry! But if you're ok with the ingredients I imagine they'd be ok.
Hello, I've used them plenty of times when rib pain is an issue. As Twinkly says go by ingredients. x
Avoid if you have an aspirin sensitivity. Not all asthmatics have this sensitivity and those that do are usually on dry powder inhalers. Having said that, screening for aspirin sensitivity isn't done unless the patient highlights that they may have a problem.
