Breathlessness driving me crazy.
I exercise most days aerobic or
cycling
at the gym for 30 to 40 minutes but my breathlessness is driving me mad. Does anyone know of or heard of a solution to this. Please.......?

Knee getting better after 10 days rest
Cycling
for an hour is fine. No pain. I have to decide now if I should try to run again and move on to wk4 or rest the knee a bit longer? I've tried the knee strengthening exercises but found them painful so stopped. I can't wait to give running another go but don't want to overdo it.

10th parkrun and end to an epic week of running!
I haven't yet forked out for a running jacket but found a very nice
cycling
jacket I used to wear which is so far doing the job and hopefully Santa will bring me a new running jacket😀 I realised quite quickly that I did not have the legs this week and there would be no new PB, also due to the wet conditions

Hi, I am new here... I have (GAD) and possibly depression
For instance, I have gotten really angry which triggered my anxiety so I went
cycling
and it didn't help. I began thinking if I would feel better by diving into a lake.

Shoulder and arm pain following stent
This pain continued and is worse when walking and moving, especially when looking up, but not when
cycling
. Neck is very tense and shoulders are uneven due to tension. Diagnosis has changed to trapped nerve in my neck but lots of physio exercises are not improving the condition.

Why exercise alone won’t save us
It seems there is good evidence for the efficacy of very short bursts of strenuous anaerobic exercise, such as sprinting or
cycling
hard, followed by a brief recovery period. Interval training may improve insulin sensitivity and oxygen circulation, and increase muscle mass.

RLS & more
Also I've noticed it is usually worse I've been active, or been walking,
cycling
or swimming, during the day. Another irritant for me while trying to sleep is I have sleep apnea, and have to use a CPAP machine. So if the RLS doesn't get me the sleep apnea usually does.

Any avid cyclists out there? I'd like to resume when permitted (I've been told 3 months), but I have a question about saddles and bike setup. On a standard road saddle you're generally putting a lot of force on the perineum. (There's some controversy as to whether this is a risk factor for PC, but

Return to running after 30 years
I'm 57 and used to run in my 20s but switched to
cycling
because of knee pain. Decided to give running another go whilst still
cycling
because my son runs and I want to run a 10k with him. Going for a gait analysis this afternoon and will then probably buy new shoes.

PR Session No 4
At one point whilst preparing to start another
cycling
session, instead of fearing the feeling of breathlessness I was about to feel, I actually remember my little brain thinking " come on, it's only breathlessness." I would never have been like that before, I was absolutely petrified by SOB.

The Wind outside is making my asthma worse.
I went on a bike ride 2 weeks ago, and i was
cycling
into a headwind alot of the time, and it was killing me, it was making my asthma worse. It felt like a challenge to get back home with the 24 mile loop.

Bipolar disorder with rapid
cycling
and mixed states - right now seems well managed but I know he would prefer a better quality of life and less meds. Earlier this year when he tried to reduce some of the mood meds, a very unpleasant (for us living with him) mania developed.
