Bisoprolol and bilirubin
I'm 65, have never had high blood pressure or high cholesterol, I'm fit and healthy including
cycling
, gym, spinning classes, pilates etc. I'm concerned that bisoprolol is doing me more harm than good. In May 2018, I was also put on atorvastatin, aspirin and lansoprazole.

CHD Diagnosis in China
I hope they find that it isn't as bad since I have had no pain and up to 10 days ago merrily
cycling
and working out in the gym as always. How likely is it that the catheterisation shows different results? I know. I'm grasping at straws - stent like straws perhaps......

Low blood pressure & Ropinerole
Over the last 2 or 3 months, I've become aware that after
cycling
for about an hour my recovery seems to have taken longer and longer. The bit I've been concerned about is that whenever I bend over on standing up I will get headrush.

Daughters flaky skin on face
At christmas me and my family went to center parcs and were
cycling
with our bikes and she seemed to get wind burn or something around her mouth since it was cold as we went so fast. This has never improved and it seems to be spreading. Doctors have seen it twice.

Post-AVR: 1st Anniversary
So, I'm
cycling
, walking and playing regular tennis with renewed vigour and stamina. In fact my heart rate peaked this week at 153 bpm whilst
cycling
uphill whilst my resting rate is in the range 48-52 bpm.

Feeling rough - high BP?
In
cycling
we talk about getting 'the knock', runners talk about 'hitting the wall' - when you just run out of energy and the legs get empty - that's how I feel. My normal reaction to this is to pile food into me which helps with the energy but I'm putting on weight now!

Cholesterol and Statins
So, a brief background: I am slim build and have always exercised regularly, running and
cycling
mainly, although I did very much cut this back about 5 years ago. Diet has been pretty good particularly in latter years. I have a proud history of CVD in my family, I might add.

Double Tuesday but.....
Tonight went out with the
cycling
club again. 40k done. I hate hills but for some strange reason there was about 5 hills all grouped together which I just loved. My stomach was tight all way through the ride.

I live in London but hate
cycling
on the roads but there are so many parks and off road cycle routes to use that I am considering getting a fold up bike.

Cycling may help SCA :)
Well I'm excited to share a tiny study I found that showed that
cycling
helped people with SCA regain some lost coordination.

Missing the aching muscles and stretchy Lycra 😂
I’m toying with the idea of
cycling
for a bit to build strength but also giving my legs a less high impact workout. I miss the feeling you get when your run is done. It’s a sort of warm/ tired buzz. A happy buzz. Great for the mental health in my opinion.

Put your feet down as if you are
cycling
, round and round, up and down. A lot of people on the forum, some time ago were a bit scathing about Stepping Stones. It seems because they were better than it, to start with. They may do better on Bridge 25K?

"Health is a golden crown that the healthy wear but only the sick can see"
On a positive note, I love
cycling
and I am sure people look at my physical ability and see a crown. Thoughts folks?? When do others see your crown? On an even more positive note.

LCHF...Answered me but it ALSO brought new QUESTIONS!
Long distance walks,
cycling
or any activities requiring the support of our muscles became near impossible. And … I was losing interests in diets of any kind.

Cycling again
Well evidently I have very good balance and should learn to ride quickly! BUT I get i sharp pain in my knee when I try to peddle. So I’m going to try knee strengthening exercises she also suggested a knee brace. Has anyone else had this problem. If so did you manage to get over it. I can use a static

The app counted cycling as walking today
Hello, I have used the Active10 app for the last few days and have enjoyed the challenge and enjoyed seeing when I have walked during the day (rather than just a total step count) and when it has been brisk enough to count. I cycle to work everyday. Yesterday the app counted my walk from the bike cage
