Anxious with a 117 calprotin measured
Is it possible it can be IBS or something more serious like crohns disease or ulcerative
colitis
? I’m 20 years old and i’m very anxious and have had horrible anxiety for the past 6 years.

Steroid pump for secondary adrenal insufficiency with traumatic brain injury
Hi. I’m new on this site but I wanted to share my AI stories, answer some questions and hopefully find some more resources to help us with this challenging condition. I’m reading that a lot of people on this site seem to be taking their steroids orally. I too was started on oral medication, dexamethasone

No
colitis
, IBD, diverticulitis, diverticulosis or Crohns disease were found. I was then hastily given a diagnosis of IBS as all results were normal. Having suffered from the latter for nearly all my life, it was never this bad. What I’ve tried: 1.

New Symptom or Cold?
I'm starting to worry that it might be connected, as I had joint problems when I had ulcerative
colitis
flares, but they started coming back even with my colon gone. This on top of my stomach pain and increased fatigue, I'm starting to worry if its connected.

Is this a coincidence ?
All going well until I had a flare of ulcerative
colitis
this weekend. IBD was diagnosed in spring 2016, and on medication no flares for two and a half years. Sorry here comes the question !!! My IBM nurse thinks the flare could be due to reduction of steroid, which can keep symptoms at bay.

Gastro motility issues?
Just for crohns and
colitis
which I don’t have. My symptoms are getting worse and I’m at a loss. The Gastro says it’s just IBs. I argued there’s evident slow transit issues so they diagnosed slow transit constipation which makes no sense to me as I go to the loo 3 plus times a day??

colitis
I have been diagnosed with
colitis
and have been in hospital several times. My immune system is rubbish and having been in hospital I now have C/Difficile. I have been so ill with it that am starting to think it will never go away. Has anyone out there ever had the same thing.

Ulcerative colitis
I have had ulcerative
colitis
for 2 years and finally under control with Entivyo infusions every 8 weeks. So far no diarrhea on Ibrance, but occasionally loose stools. Just wondering if there is anyone out there with ulcerative
colitis
on Ibrance and what your experience has been.

My Dad has
colitis
and I’m worried it’s something like Crohn’s as I have had symptoms for years. In the dream I sat on an unsteady chair and was suddenly at the edge of deep water about to fall in- says it all right?!
