Severe pain in side
She’s still waiting for official results as they took biopsy to check for microscopic
colitis
. She’s lost a tiny bit of weight but considering she’s eaten so little for months it’s surprising she’s not stick thin!

Colitis correlation (with MPN or Pegasys use)
Looking on here for posts from anyone who's experienced this I found very little tying Peg to
Colitis
, but a fair amount of people tying their MPN itself to
Colitis
and are NOT taking Peg.

How to get some nutrition if you have IBS, Celiac, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Radiation Enteritis, or any other digestion disorder.
If you have IBS or any of its "cousin" gut diseases such as Ulcerative
Colitis
, you might not absorb nutrients well. Diarrhea in particular will flush out all nutrients, either natural or in supplement for. You gut microflora might also be weak from constant diarrhea, which will make things worse.

Strokes Again!! Update on mine and cerebral vasculitis.
Thankfully I am due another steroid injection next week and then a trial of azathioprine, but they want a colonoscopy and endoscopy first, as they also suspect ulcerative
colitis
on top of the years of chonic pancreatitis!!!

I may need antibiotics for sinus infection...help
Amoxicillin triggered my
colitis
and makes it worse each time. This is what I have been prescribed in the past. Are thete any other antibiotics which may be less harmful to my tummy? I also have no colon and instead an ileostomy.

Ischemic Colitis caused by ET
After having ET for approximately 8 years, last month I ended up with ischemic
colitis
. A CAT scan and Endoscopy and Colonoscopy (biopsy) determined that blood flow was restricted to the vessels in part of my colon. It never occurred to me that something like that would happen from ET.

Potential colitis/proctitis after colonoscopy but no prescription?
I am a bit confused as to why I was told confidently it looks like
colitis
during the scopy that I wasn't given anything. Is this normal procedure? Since the scopy I have been passing larger amounts of blood.

Indeterminate colitis and cecum crohns?
I finally get a colonoscopy last month which showed indeterminate
colitis
in cecum and rectum with chronic fissures and tracking through my rectum. My histology has come back normal and so my gastro has suggested that it could be crohns related isolated to cecum but doesn't know for certain.

A little worried (long post)
(I feel like I don’t have ulcerative
colitis
or chron’s because I’ve had it so many years). The way I look at it, if it is effecting me and isn’t always pencil thin or anything else, then it must just be colon spasms...right? I get pain on both my left side and my right side.

? I’m 20 years old and i’m very anxious and have had horrible anxiety for the past 6 years.
