It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would and apart from
bruising
it has been fine. So 2 good things have been happening, all I need now is to win the lottery and it would be the end of a pretty good week!!! Hugs to all Angela xx

Bruising
Hi can anyone help or give me some advise on
bruising
and breaking of skin obviously due to steriods. My legs and arms are almost black and in this sunny weather I am covering up with trousers and long sleeves. Yes I'm vain! I am on a 12.5mg maintenance course of steriods and simbicort inhaler.

Bruising
a still coming out, and wound is slow to heal. I feel like someone has beaten me up!! It also still hurts to pee. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced pain for this long as I was led to believe I'd be back to normal within the week!!

Should I increase back from 8mg Pred to 15?
Also, my hair is awful, and I am
bruising
easily. But, it would be nice to be pain free for a while! So, I don't know what to do! Any comments would be appreciated! Helen

Should I expect this from Clexane Trial (APS)?
I don't find the injections that painful and the
bruising
is a very insignificant price to pay for hope. The first couple of days were like I had new limbs, everything felt different. My symptoms had already started to improve after such a short space of time, is this normal?

Menstrual issues?
It seems to me that it could possibly be related since my Raynaud's is getting worse, my livedo reticularis is getting more noticeable, and I have more lesions on my skin, along with the petechiae and
bruising
. Warning, might be a little graphic!

Giving a little back
Then I started getting a burning sensation in my fingertips followed by
bruising
under the nails. Initially, I thought this could be artritis so consulted my GP, who had never seen this before. I had a blood test which was negative.

Blood test for comparison
I went yesterday for a blood test (not for inr), the
bruising
reminded me how lucky I am to be a self tester. I do have to go and get a venous check periodically and self test straight after so that they have both results as a comparison to check my machine.

Hi All, Hope you are all enjoying the sun, not been on for a while, update on my Enbrell injections and how i've been getting on.!!!
My knee is my bad one anyway with RA and the bang from the car door didnt help , the
bruising
has gone now but left a small dent in my knee and still suffering some pain . I think it will take longer to heal. But as i said earlier my RA is better then it was so i'm just thankful for that.

Need your advice on my leg!!
But I've found it hard to walk properly today, it's still swollen and the
bruising
is spreading. I was sat down with my legs crossed just a minute ago, I was sat like that for about an hour.

New Maybe ITP, or something else?
That night, I noticed a "rash" and soon learned it was patechei and
bruising
. The urgent care said my platelets were 6,000 and sent me to the er where I was promptly seen. They had dropped to 3,000 that quickly. By the time I got a platelet transfusion they went to 1,000.
