Bruising
I was wondering if the sudden appearance of horrible
bruising
on parts of my body that haven't or couldn't get bumped; under my arm, top of my leg is due to my over weight. I always have a new bruise. Any ideas? I have lost half a stone since starting ORLISTAT.

Grave's disease treatment update and question about agranulocytosis
It is drilled into patients on Carbimazole that you have to rush to the doctors to have a blood test if you have a sore throat, mouth ulcers or
bruising
. I have had a sore throat since before I started on the drug (and was the reason I had my bloods checked in the first place).

Stress and the heart - post cardioversion
1 month after a successful CV and the
bruising
seems to have gone, but I've noticed I can be very sensitive to stress. Especially from work, the area can feel tighter. (Feels better after a good nights sleep). Have others experienced this?

...and something went twang....
Today, there's no pain, no swelling or
bruising
but just a tightness if I step in a certain way. I've got my compression sleeve on when I'm not moving around and this seems to help too. FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!

I have swollen feet, ankles and legs on this medication and suffer several side effects but the one that is troubling me most is the
bruising
over my legs and ankles.

Opinions Please!!!
Bad
Bruising
on legs & occasionally on arms. I then starting having really really bad arthritis-like pain especially in my knees. My knee caps especially when achy would barely bend and would always be bright red. Hive like rashes would appear more frequently if I was out in the sun.

Nothing bad was found just a little
bruising
left from what was thought to be a vocal " injury" since I have always been an enthusiastic and regular singer. The change in my vocal sound was very sudden one day last November.

Physio says I can get off the Couch!
I had worked that out for myself but it was good to get it confirmed and to know that it was just
bruising
and not a fracture or anything. I showed him the offending shoes and my new Asics which he was really enthusiastic about – and don’t think it was just the colour.

Thanks for rapid responses
The last angiogram I had was through the arm and a blood vessel was punctured which caused bad swelling and
bruising
. The previous three had been ok. I would just like to get off Bisoprolol and increase my heart rate.

Low platelet count.
This is resulting in
bruising
on parts of my body. My local nhs (not liver transplant team) has diagnosed that this is caused by the use of my anti-rejection medication ( cyclosporin/mycophenolate). I am puzzled that if the cause was as indicated then why has it taken 18 months before a reaction.

I am being told that the drug can have various side effects and it can cause of excessive bleeding and
bruising
. Also being told I cannot risk a head injury. Well, I am in a job which involves having to deal with potentially violent people. So the risk is always there.

I am experiencing more flashbacks...I think this is good.
He beat down that door and threw me into the shower
bruising
my hip. Oh and then there was the bacon grease pan he held over my head after I accidentally burned the bacon. I covered my face and begged him not to hurt me.

The update....
BUT it's impossible to tell until the swelling goes down for sure... it's not likely to be stress fractures or anything like that and there's no
bruising
so that doesn't indicate other "bleeding" type injuries... so far so good...
