It is throwing my spine out due to weight of fluid which has triggered
back
spasms (I also have a spinal cord
injury
) My arrythmia nurse wants me to stay out of hospital unless I really cannot breathe at all; has prescribed water tablets and I have a cardioversion appointment on 15th Dec.

Post C25K Run!
Hi all, After a quick break to nurse a old pro wrestling
injury
, stoooopid
back
, I completed my second post C25K run this morning. I did a 3.5k ease back in on Friday. This may be a little controversial but I feel a little liberated not running with the C25K app running in my ear.

Useless Endocrinologists
Some 20 odd years ago I had caught chickenpox off my daughter and had ended up with a head
injury
after blacking out, falling backwards and splitting the
back
of my head open on a metal strip. I then spent several days in hospital with 8 stitches in my head and bad concussion.

I feel this minor
injury
has set me
back
a few days. I noticed a tiny, tiny drop of yellowish fluid. Not sure if pus or lymph. Not sure if normal or not. It hasn't oozed out or out anything. I only saw from trying to take a peek underneath my incision. It dried up the next day.

And now for the third time, Week 1!
Back
from the
injury
bench and off we go again. It's been exactly one year since i started the first time and I've got to week 8 twice. Let's see how far i get this time! On the plus side, there's two stone less of me than there was this time last year. Yay!

Running... ME!?
Started running with my wife to help her get
back
into running after an
injury
. Next thing... I'm starting C25K. I hadn't run since school. Absolutely hated P. E. Last week completed Week 9. Amazing. Now I'm still running! Thank you so much C25K and my lovely wife / coach..

No medication
So I finished my meeting with the endo, she said my symptoms were mainly due to anxiety and depression and so she prescribed me Cipralex (Lexapro). She said as I was subclinical, if she were to prescribe me with thyroid medication, it will make my anxiety worse. I have another meeting with her in 2

Meds
Hi. Many of the T patients that write in this Forum, are taking meds to deal with the side effects of T, like stress, anxiety, and perhaps they don´t realise that there are other ways that can help without resorting to meds, and that is by uncluttering your mind of negative thoughts. Some of these

Getting back to running after injury - when to start?
Morning, folks! I pulled/strained my calf muscle 3 weeks ago. I completed C25k in July and had been consolidating for 3 weeks or so, running for 40 minutes every other day. I was hobbling around in for 7-10 days and since then there has been huge improvement. I feel no pain now, and can walk briskly

Back after injury
I've made it
back
after an
injury
on w8r2. It's taken near 4 weeks and I've dropped
back
to week 6 ....but I'm back and taking more care on the paths I run on....and hoping my new trainers will be better support than my old ones. Bring it on!
