Now in Week 4 of Circumcision Recovery!

WEEK 1:

I woke up in pain after the anesthesia wore off. Nurses didn't want to give any painkillers. My GF ended up buying Tylenol for me and I took a couple pills. Had to walk very slowly. Had a gauze wrapped around my penis, but that thing kept falling off. Had to replace it when I got home. Ended up buying my own gauze and re-wrapping daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Only instructions surgeon gave me was no sex or masturbation or working out for 4 weeks.

Penis was a little swollen, like a little water balloon. Peeing was unpredictable. I ended up having to pee in the shower. My urine stream was extremely strong. I could pee 10 feet away. Other times, I would have two streams of urine. Other times, three streams. Other times, I just squirted urine all over the place. Using the toilet standing up was out the question. Had to sit down like a woman, Lol.

Peeing is not painful but I end up bracing myself for some reason. Just a psychological thing.

There is a swelling like a little ball underneath my penis head.

Penis head looks beat up. It's pink but has a lot of dried up blood.

I didn't shower for the first 3 days.

I only needed Tylenol for a few hours after the surgery. I've never taken it since.

You can see the various stitches poking out like Frankenstein's monster.

WEEK 2:

Swelling under penis head goes down a little. Penis head looks flaky.

Swelling of the overall penis does down but now I notice some little lumps. I think they are veins that got sealed off during surgery. Not pleasant to look at but the most horrific thing. They are not visible at certain angles. Dried up blood stains have gone away.

Showering regularly daily. But I make sure to guard the water from the showerhead from impacting my penis too hard.

Gauze keeps falling off. No perfect way for me to wrap it around my penis without it falling off eventually. I experiment between walking around the house naked vs briefs vs boxers. Either way, if I am wearing clothes, a gauze definitely had to be own because my penis head is extremely sensitive. Anytime it brushes against anything, I scream.

Started getting erections again for the first time. At night they hurt. But once I think about something non-sexual, I calm down after a few seconds/months. And I go back to bed. I get half-erections; I can't have "full" erections because all the stitches are restricting.

A lot of the stitches are dissolving away. This is especially noticeable after a warm shower.

I can see a little bit underneath my penis head but I can't pull back the skin to the see the top part of my shaft. The little glimpse I see is ghastly-looking.

I popped a small stitch because of wearing jeans and how I sat in my car. Was just a couple drops of blood. Nothing serious. It needs to re-scab and it's a little behind schedule healing like other parts of my incision.

WEEK 3:

That ball swelling underneath head is down but seems like there's just extra skin there that won't go anywhere.

Accidentally hit the opening of my penis while drying myself. The penis "mouth" area got a little black/blue. Another part got red. The redness went away the same day. The black/blue area is tiny but my penis' opening isn't perfectly 100% pink like before. I feel this minor injury has set me back a few days.

I noticed a tiny, tiny drop of yellowish fluid. Not sure if pus or lymph. Not sure if normal or not. It hasn't oozed out or out anything. I only saw from trying to take a peek underneath my incision. It dried up the next day.

I can walk around without a gauze. The brushing against my penis head is not painful anymore. It's ALMOST pleasurable whenever my clothes brush against it. That's a twist. There is still a slight discomfort though if something impacts my frenulum area (or where it used to be?) so I'm not 100% healed.

MOST (not all) of my peeing is accurate. From time to time, my pee goes in an unintended direction but peeing is way better compared to week 1.

My erections are not as painful as last week. I am able to get a little longer than before when the stitches were really constricting me. Still no full erections but feels better than before.

Still wearing boxer-briefs--I feel safer wearing these than tightey-whitey briefs which are too tight and regular boxers, which aren't secure enough.

Penis head looks pink and fine, but a tad wrinkly and a tad darker around the mouth area. I don't know if this is my new normal look, or if it's still recovering from when I hit it by accident. But my penis head is not flaky or dry looking like it was a few times earlier.
