Halfway through my run today I felt my old achilles
injury
come
back
but decided to hobble on and finish the run, I've been nursing the injury for the last couple of weeks by stretching and using creams etc but today's pain was the worst it's been, hopefully with a few days rest and stretching I can

My husband is refusing his meds
John has finally been diagnosed with PSP. It's only been 4 years! But he is starting to refuse his anti depressants, saying they are causing his headaches. He doesn't seem to realize the PSP effects both of us, and has become very self-centered. Any suggestions?

W9R2 losing motivation 😩
Tried to keep my fingers crossed and tried to ignore it but when I started running I could feel it more☹️ Decided to stop and turn
back
as I’ve been in this position before and exacerbated
injury
.
Back
in W6 had to stop for 5 weeks too with ligament
injury
.

So after a 10 week break due to a very painful Muscle
injury
I got

Elavil causing brain fog ? Treatment for fibromyalgia needed
My fibromyalgia started after a viral infection (viral labyrinthitis- an inner ear infection). My head felt very heavy and then my generalized muscle aches started. 30 years later my body is very stiff and sore all over which causes me difficulty sleeping. I have found no medication that helps- Elavil

Another person with loss of smell and taste....
I have only recently had a TBI, which resulted in a coup contrecoup
injury
. I fell with all my weight on the
back
of my head, hitting the occipital area and the resultant ricochet meant that my olfactory nerve was either damaged or sheared off.

No Walk in the Park
Remembered the relief and help brought by seeing an acupuncturist years ago for a
back
injury
. Although he'd retired and moved
back
to China, I'd seen the new practitioner a couple of times after her arrival. Was so pleased to see the number still listed and called for an appointment yesterday.

Slow return from injury couch - for anyone with back or knee pain
After graduating in the summer, I ignored the 10% rule out of stupid desperation to reach 5k. Hurt R knee, rested for few days, ran again for couple weeks but both knees started hurting, followed by back flaring up - so stopped altogether for couple weeks as could barely move. Once acute back pain

Hidden Disability - confusion for all!
Nope, I said, I still have a brain
injury
, that's for life I'm afraid! I paid
back
their ’overpayment’ of over £927.00.

LeJoG 6 - I'm off!
Common sense prevailed though since I am coming
back
from
injury
so I decided that 7k would have me running for an hour, which would do just fine for today! It was a corker. I did my lovely slow run along the canal passing cyclists, a few women pushing prams and quite a few runners.

LeJog 6 here I come!
I thought it wise not to go for it when coming
back
from
injury
, but now I'm thinking that the last few runs have been fine so..... I think my managing to do the required mileage each week is a bit of a tall order so I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't get the medal.

Ankyolosing Spondylitis and Adalimumab
I have Ankyolosing Spondylitis with a number of spinal fusions already. I started on Adalimumab at the end of April but it's not really helping. I have just had a phone appointment with the specialist nurse who told me that I can't expect to be pain free as I have a lot going on. I told her I don't

The run that mattered the most...🏃🏽♀️🙂🙏
The last couple of years have seen me come
back
from an
injury
that left me with nerve damage and foot drop in the very early days. Building up my mileage was slow and the injury left me with a gait weakness and altered pronation that resulted in knee problems. I persisted - it's what we do.

Hi guys. I had treatment for endo last August, I also had a IDU inserted during this procedure. Everything was great until December when the pain started to return, I saw my consultant again in February who suspected Adenomyosis-the treatment plan for this is not something I am ready for being only 29

Knee injury took me back to week1 1st run with caution 🥁
Well after reaching my 3rd week 2nd run I had noticed some tightening in my left knee.. I had bought new trainers and started treadmill on a slight incline just up one.. as recommended on couch to 5k. What I also noticed but didn't pay much attention to, was the scuffing of one of my trainers on right

Hi! I've had endo for years but in Jan 2020 found out I'd two big cyst. One on the left was 8cm and wouldn't shrink with the Syrenal I was taking.
