Worried mum
Hi my 18 year old son has a 10p size patch of hair loss and has been given anti viral medication and anti fungal shampoo. Having read a little bit about alopecia I'm wondering if we should be asking for some steroid based medication. He went to see GP and I can't understand why he was given anti vitals

Diagnosed with Panca Vasculitis, Rhumatoid, and Osteoarthritis
I'm sorta new at this, I was diagnosed with polymyositis in 2014. I couldn't use my hands or stand up straight. It hurt to walk, sit stand, or even to lay for any amount of time. The Rhumatoligist wanted me to take chemotherapy treatments but I couldn't bring myself to do them at that time. So I tried

MS and things to avoid....
As many of us know who have MS for length of time it seems like each and every year our things to avoid list grows longer. Offhand for those newbies joining our chat room I thought together we could compile a list so they might know what to expect before it happens. Or if they're currently experiencing

Herbal medicine cured by infertility
I'm 35 years old and I had diagnosed with infertility for over a year. It's caused by 5 years of chronic prostatitis. It's the darkest time in my life. I had tried several different treatments to cure this infection, but none helped. I was very upset and depressed. By chance, I found a herbal medicine

Cordyceps Mushroom for COPD
Doing a lot of research on alternative treatments for COPD. I actually only realized I had it recently and that it was caused by inhaling tons of secondhand smoke in my life (I posted about that). Anyway, one of the posts at the Earth Clinic page on COPD, said this stuff did it for her. I think I

Univeristy student looking for research participants
I posted on here two months ago to make some initial enquiries and many of you were kind enough to respond. I am looking to now recruit three participants to carry out interviews. Ideally I would like to speak with people in London or not too far outside of London so that I can carry the interviews

Red dry flaky skin under nose and spots all the way to the chin, had anyone else had that?
Also, and i am convinced that they are related, i have a thick white tongue with spots at the back of it and a couple on the side. Initially i thought that both were the result of RAI so i was patient and eventually the redness disappeared. I followed a candida diet for the tongue which i still do and
