Options for multiple severe asthma exacerbations
I am getting to my wits end and hoping for some good ideas from this great community. I suffer from severe asthma. In less than a year I have had 8 chest infections: 4 - required steroids 6 - required antibiotics 2 - were COVID like but were not, though I did receive codeine for 1 one of the flare-ups

Not ABPA (we think) but undiagnosed and afraid in Santa Clara, CA
About five months ago I came down with a terrible chest cold which my pulmonologist said caused post viral asthma. Since then I have been so sick- shortness of breath, coughing up bright yellow balls of mucus, intense chest & back pain, and lost 40 pounds. Sometimes the mucus is so thick it glues my

Thursh cleared but symptoms are still there
So for over 2 months I have been dealing with so called 'thrush'. I finally spoke to my GP who put me on anti fungal meds for 2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks, i'm still getting discharge (not cottage cheese like but more thin and 'milky'), my clitorius and labia minora is very senstive to the point if

Hello. Following an nhs health check my liver enzymes were in the 400s. I felt fine but immediately stopped drinking . Prior to lock down I was a little above recommended intake at about 20 units a week. During lock down my narcissistic severely asthmatic 84yr old mother moved in with us for 3 months

Critical care neuropathy - 22 months later
After surviving multiple organ failure and sepsis 22 months ago. Physical recovery has been clear but very slow. I am very grateful for what I have today compared to when I left the hospital in a wheelchair unable to walk, climb stairs or even dress alone. Today I can walk 4 miles, play 9 holes and yesterday

Cracked skin, long time problem
I had something that looked like molluscum contagiosum (doctor said it was) for about 1.5 years, which disappeared after treatment. Now skin looks like this. It changes from more normal to worse now and again. The skin also turned dark in some places in a seemingly permanent manner. Tried antibiotical

The list below is copied from a paper published last year [1]. As many might recall, untreated tumors outgrow their blood supply. Contrary to popular belief, cancer does not "hate" oxygen. Oxygen insufficiency (hypoxia) results in production of HIF-1alpha (hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha), which triggers

CT Scan & _Flecanaide Q's
Hi fellow sufferers all, I'm due to have a CT Scan (is this easy to go through???) with a view to being put on Flecanaide, if my arteries aren't clogged with plaque. Is anyone else on Flecanaide (spelling?) ? How do you find it? Does it solve the Afib? I'm told I also have to continue to take a low

Toe Nail Rot
Any tips on dealing with toenail fungus? I am post transport and sort of remember that I am not able to take oral anti fungal medication and I've had this problem for years. I've tried various over the counter topical treatments which have never worked and just end up costing a fortune and also exhausted

Red marks on penis head
About 2 1/2 weeks ago I noticed some discomfort while masturbating and saw that I had a shiny red rash on the underside of my penis head. I googled some things and thought that it could be a friction burn as am a little rough when I masturbate. I tried coconut oil and aloe Vera for a week. It seemed

Ongoing thrush problem (I think?) not responding to anti-fungal treatment anymore
Last summer, I developed a white thicker discharge than normal that looked like it had little white specs in it (what looked like and felt like dead skin or wet tissue). However, I didn't really have any other symptoms like itching or soreness. I bought the oral pill (Fluconazole) which got rid of it
