Hiya all. I'm a new writer but have been a reader for several weeks. I suffer from numerous health problems but the main diagnosis is ALLERGIC BRONCHO PULMONARY ASPERGILLOSIS (ABPA). I have been on a steady dose of an antifungal med, Itraconazole, for many years. I was a part of the original study program

Hi all This months Top Sante magazine (June 2017 UK edition) contains a 6 page feature entitled the essential guide to a healthy thyroid. All the usual areas are covered including what to eat (it recommends eating seaweed for essential minerals- I thought I'd seen that Thyroid patients need to be careful

How to conceive with a low ovarian reserve?
Hi, there! I have some problems with my fertility and I need your help and advice. My hubby and I can’t conceive a baby because of my ovaries. My AMH test has revealed that they are nearly empty. I’m 36 and I have very irregular periods. My gyny says that it may be the first signs of an early menopause

Is herbal therapy safe in obesity? A case of Apium graveolens (Celery) induced hyperthyroidism
An interesting case report - though the conclusion maybe somewhat speculative. Don't take it too seriously without further reports. I shall certainly continue to consume my modest but regular consumption of celery. It is a classic to suggest that it takes more calories to eat and digest celery than it

"Treating Hyperthyroidism with Herbal Medicine"
Post 3 - "Healing Hyperthyroidism the natural way". I've promised I would keep you up to date on my progress. Three months ago since I started my treatment with Herbal medicine. It has been a slow process, for that's the nature of herbs. It has also been a scary road, and I was so close to giving

Aspergilloma surgery
9 years ago I had a right upper lobe wedge resection because I had 2 fungus balls growing. I am so disheartened because I have been having lots of trouble with pain and coughing up blood. 9 yrs ago I was never put on any kind of anti-fungal meds. My new lung dr. said I should have back then. The surgeon

Imbruvica and Voriconazole
In early February, it was discovered that due to my husband's low immune system from his leukemia, he had contracted a fungal infection called aspergillus. Since then, he has been on an antifungal medication called voricanazole, and they have cut his imbruvica back from three a day to one a day. Before

TTC with Endo
Hi! When I was 26 years old, I was diagnosed with a large cyst on my left ovary. I had a surgery and it was removed together with the ovary. I still have the right one, so it’s quite possible for me to get pregnant. My DH and I have been TTC for 2 years, but we’re still childless. My doctor says that

Essential oils
"Many people have asked me why I would choose Essential Oils over drugs. I’ve heard from friends and acquaintances that they perceive essential oils to be useless, just things that smell nice, and too expensive. Some of the benefits of therapeutic essential oils are: Essential oils contain oxygen molecules

High AST levels
Dear all, I recently had my bloods and lft done. Everything was fine except ast levels which were 119 and c reactive was 1.1. Could this be because of taking herbal medicine like liv 52. Could it be because of intense excercise? I have a docs appointment next week but would be great to know your thoughts

thrush
I have had thrush on and off (more on than off) in the three years i have been with my partner. I have never had it before this. I use anti-fungal pessaries and cream and it goes away but comes straight back. I have been to the doctor and they basically did nothing for me. I have been tested for chlamydia

Hi Everyone Since my last post I've been back to NAC and I've been taken off all my antifungal drugs as I was experiencing a whole range of side-effects which didn't get any better over time.
