Occipital Neuralgia & constant neck stiffness
For over a year now I’ve had chronic burning head neuralgia at the back of my head - either side of top of head, behind my ears & a constant feeling like I’ve been smashed by a baseball bat ! I also have tinnitus/hypercusis & pain behind my forehead & eyes ! I’ve tried the nerve block & it did absolutely

Newbie sertraline
Hi everyone I’m new here. I just wanted to ask if any of you take sertraline and amitriptyline? I’ve been on a low dose of amitriptyline for a couple of years now for pain. Today I phoned my doctor as I’ve been suffering with really bad health anxiety to the point of having bad panic attacks. I convinced

Has anyone had acid reflux as a side effect of amitriptyline or another Anticholinergic medication?
I have developed acid reflux since starting amitriptyline a few years ago, it may just be a coincidence but I have read that it can weaken the muscle at the top of the stomach. Has anyone else had experience with this; and does it resolve if you stop taking the medication?

Stiffness after everyday chores
Hi all - I’m trying not to give in to having fibro. Amitriptyline at night seems to be helping so far. I’ve just done a bit of housework which I was pleased to manage fine. But now I’ve stopped I realise I’ve stiffened up again. It’s so frustrating that after doing so little I’m hurting & stuggling to

Intro and little rant 😬
Hi lovely peeps, I'm Dawn and new to this group. I was diagnosed in 2018 with Fibro, suffered a couple years before being diagnosed. It's such a horrible thing to have, aswell as being frustrating in all aspects. I dont have one specific area of pain, as I get a surprise every day as to where I'm

When you don't understand your body anymore... what do you do?
I have had a previous fibroid removal, thyroid swelling (goitre present but no hyper/hypo according to blood work), ovarian cyst, hydrosalpinx (both tubes -still can't believe it!), pelvic pain and amitriptyline didn't help me. Waiting for scan now for the past 2 months. I am tired and all I want

Sleeping problems
I've been on sertraline for 10 years now and I've been prescribed Amitriptyline for my sleeping problems. Which is worrying because it can cause interactions. I'm on 10mg Amitriptyline, is it safe to take another one if 10mg isn't doing anything?

Spread the dose throughout the day
I take amitriptyline at night. I have been booked off work, can I take amitriptyline during the day to help with the sciatica pain, if I spread my dose out throughout the day?
