Amitriptyline for moderate pain side effects
Hi, I’m a long term sufferer of ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia. My all over pain has increased so I’ve been given Amitriptyline 10mg. I’m so sensitive to new meds I’m worried about side effects of depression, confusion, extra fatigue, nausea, ibs, could anyone here tell me about their experience. Thank you

Hi brave people, I have just joined this forum and sympathise with those that can't get some relief. The blood to my brain was blocked off on one side for a few hours 12 years ago (Carotid Artery dissection) then 2 years later had meningitis, so my poor brain has had a bit of a bashing. I never had

sudden onset ear fullness and hearing loss
Hi everyone, having a bit of a panic and would like to ask your advice. I'm 52 and have had tinnitus in my left ear for many years. I have noticed over the last few months that I think its starting in my right ear also (hard to tell sometimes). However today I get up feeling fine and then at lunchtime

Could my pain and ongoing symptoms be Fibromyalgia?
Hi just looking for some advice/reassurance. Here’s a brief history/symptoms: I have a paternal aunt and great grandmother with fibromyalgia. My biggest pain which has been going on now for months has been sore/tender ribs to touch. Mainly right side. Bottom of ribs, going round to side and back.

Pains getting worse even started physio... please go away covid 😪 I want to walk without limping again
Literally fed up now surgery is more than likely to be on hold again. I just wanted a Christmas that wasn't spent on the bathroom floor. I'm determined to build my exercises up in physio and keep trying but walking is becoming more and more restrictive. I've upped my amitriptyline but not had any affect

New and new meds too
Hello I have recently found your site and have posted a few comments. I would love to get some feedback on the new to me combination of Etoricoxib 60mg and Nefopam 30mg as I’m having several undesirable side-effects, notably lack of sleep which never helps anyone suffering with pain. I’m only three days

Prescribed hydroxychloroquine
I’ve not been on for a while After months on amitriptyline for fibromyalgia I’ve just seen a different rheumatologist at my follow up and was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis/early RA. She prescribed hydroxychloroquine which sounds quite well tolerated. I’m a bit worried about the long term eye

Amitriptyline and bladder problems
Having taken Amitriptyline for many years for pain relief, I have finally weaned myself off it. However, I now have what the Drs are diagnosing as Overactive Bladder Syndrome. I have never had bladder probs before and my bladder has been scanned and is healthy. I know that Amitrip is used in children
