I would be grateful if someone who has had a similar reaction could help. My husband who is 72 was given Amitriptyline to help as he was in pain with Osteoarthritis affecting his neck causing constant headaches, everything was fine for about 6 weeks and then just as the GP was going to issue more he

Hey all. So, recently I have been really struggling to manage my pain, get out of that depressive mood, tiredness and the inability to sleep. I know they say that fibro can be linked to trauma, regardless of physical or emotional. In the last two months we have lost 2 family members to suicide. As you

Colchicine - does it help your joint pain?
I am wondering if any of my fellow sufferers out there are on colchicine and if they find it helps or not? I have been on it about 6 weeks now and admit it has reduced my ulcers and skin issues but the pain in my joints is still unbearable and escalating. Does anyone out there find it helps with the

Hi, I’ve recently been diagnosed and over the last two years I’ve been able to go to work with the pain but over the last two months the pain in my hips and pelvis has been immense and walking around the house is taxing. I’m a Healthcare Assistant with the NHS and do about 15K steps a day with the job

Anyone using Oxycodone?
I've had severe RLS for years, but I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis so I'm on Tremadol for the pain (can't take anti inflammatories due to stomach problems) the doctors have tried me on lyrica, amitriptyline and ropinirole most recently. I've only been on it for maybe a month but I think I've already

Vomiting after taking medication
So I was feeling a bit sickly. Like a normal little vomit bug sickly. I had to take my usual dose of MST & amitriptyline. About 35 minutes later I vomited... a lot. I'm feeling a bit better now that I've been sick. However, I am really really worried that I've thrown up my pain killers. With it being

Prescribed medication Nd RLS
Does anyone know which sleeping tablets and pain killers make RLS worse? After fairly major surgery I was given sleeping tablets in the hospital and was up all night walking around with terrible RLS. I was prescribed amitriptyline to take home and it definitely aggravated the RLS.
