My rls seems to be getting worse, this last week I was prescribed tramadol which I had to stop, made me ill, then ropinorole, which also made me ill, so at the moment I'm only on gabapentin and pramipexole, which are obviously

Is prednisone the only answer?
In a bit of a quandary...I have finally had blood tests done, ( CRP at 120, and ESR at 39) after years of being told by doctors and specialists that I had arthritis, and not much could be done apart from pain medication..Anti inflammatories, panadol, codeine and trammadol. Doctor is now diagnosing me

Am I right or wrong???
So over the many years and different treatments I have tried for CRPS, I made a decision this year to reduce my medication. In November I hurt my back and I kept hurting it because while on so much tramadol I lifted my wheelchair when I should not have. I could not feel myself hurting myself. As the

Deep pelvic pain?
This post may be a bit confusing because it's really hard to describe this pain I've been getting. I'm trying to get diagnosed with endometriosis and having a lap done soon but this is the one pain (out of them all) that I'm struggling to deal with. I wanted to find out if anyone else gets this: It's

UK: Please could you share your T3 and NDT trustworthy reliable online sources, and also any successes persuading your GP to prescribe NDT?
For those of you in the UK, I have the following questions: 1) Have you managed to get an NDT on prescription from your GP, and if so how? Also, which NDT? I’m not keen on trying the ‘new’ (old news now!) formula Armour, due to what I’ve read. My GP is a nice guy who just *might possibly* be convinced

A GP's Suggestion for RLS
I was having a review of my Tramadol prescription recently at my GP's surgery, and my doctor wanted me to cut down from the usual c4-6 capsules a day to 3. I told her the main reason I took them was for RLS, and without them it just went crazy. She then gave me her wonderful words of wisdom for dealing

RLS advice please!
Hey everyone, I have been reading messages on this site for a food few months now, but this is my first post. I will try to keep it short and to the point! I have had RLS for as long as I can remember (at least the age of 10), but it was only officially diagnosed during my first pregnancy, 6 years ago

What should I ask for when I see the GP about pramipexole withdrawal?
After a very fraught day, the pharmacist at my mental health centre has arranged a phone call with my GP tomorrow morning and I am to see her in the afternoon, with regard to coming off pramipexole, due to augmentation and insomnia. However, the pharmacist is intending to suggest starting me on gabapentin

Need advice on where to go from here in my attempt to get off Ropinerole. Also welcome thoughts about my theory about how my RLS began.
I take Gabapentin 600 mgs. morning and late afternoon, when I take my daily dose of Ropinerole 2mg. Extended Release. I find my regular Gabapentin to be helpful for nerve pain from a botched foot operation 12-years ago. I also take 100 mgs of Tramadol at that time and 1 or 2, 28 mg. capsules of Iron

Ouch thanks
Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. I am feeling so much better. That was a nasty flare. Not completely over it but it is manageable. My dealing with the wakeful tramadol demon... take at 1500 then use paracetamol till early hours and take tramadol top up. Not the answer but at least I
