Not sure what dosage you are prescribed but please do us all a favor and call your 911 or your doctor immediately . People on here care.
I also have trouble sleeping. I've been there. Go to the emergency room please next time. They will help you. There are so many things that could be effecting your sleep. If you suffer from insomnia I would suggest a sleep study. They will work with you and find a medication or natural remedy that will work best for you.
Maybe you're psychiatrist needs to prescribe something else other than tramadol since it's clearly not effective. It'll harm your body tremendously if you take more or that amount daily. If you feel like it is an emergency situation, like Depressed1996 said, just go to the emergency room. They will give you something more suitable than 10 muscle relaxers.
That being said, I'm sorry you can't sleep. I have no idea how I would feel not having slept in a full four day period.
I can empathise but you must phone a medical line and get advice about what to do and whether you need to go to a&e for treatment. I have runs of days when I can't sleep and it does make you desperate but I can assure you taking too many of something will not really help in the long run.
Let us know how you get on
Hello Lynseyhot, you are having a tough time and we are concerned for you. As the other members of the community have said I would also urge you to seek medical attention as soon as practicable. We're here to support you so please get back in touch.
Tramadol actually keeps some people awake (including me!). So it may not be helping you sleep. Maybe ask for a different painkiller for night time as well as something to help you sleep.
Hello All, I am posting this because we feel it it necessary to lock this thread to any further replies given the implied need for medical help in Lynseyhot's message. We will be contacting her with advice and contact details for further services. Thank you for all your support and your sympathetic replies to her.
