Restless legs linked to endo?
Every month, exactly a week after the first day of my period, I suffer with a few nights of restless legs. They're so severe I often wake up jolting. Lastnight I managed to get off thanks to my oh rubbing cbd muscle balm all over my legs and hips for almost an hour. At first I thought it was from

Just Introducing myself
Hi All, Happy to be here but not, as I'm sure you all get. Seems like a very supportive community which is lovely. I care for my husband who was diagnosed with probable MSA in 2017. Symptoms started occurring in 2014. So its been a weird one in the sense that for ages we weren't sure whether it was

I am infuriated. I am experiencing augmentation after 4 years on ropinirole. I experience severe RLS at least every other night and consequently do not get any sleep at all. The RLS has even spread beyond my legs. I finally discovered (after some research on the RLS foundation website) that if I take

Ibuprofen and Prednisone Together?
Slipped in the mud a week ago in my yard and landed on the back of my right shoulder. Currently on 22 mg prednisone. I am seeing my orthopedist about the somewhat severe back and thoracic pain brought on by the fall. I had a full body bone scan taken two days ago and will see the orthopedist again tomorrow

Injections, hope this makes you smile
Well my first experience with injections. September 2020, I was up early 4:30am as decided this was the best time for me to do it. Dreamt of injection last night, needle so big I couldn't reach the plunger to give it to myself. (I guess I was really nervous.) Anyway I read instructions on pamphlet and

Tyrosine
Has anyone taken tyrosine and had any positive outcomes? I already take magnesium Iron and B12. I have recently added Omega 3 but when looking into Pramipexole and dopamine I came across Tyrosine. It seems you can literally buy a supplement for anything these days but wondering if its worth looking

New member with seven-year itch...
Hi, all. New to this forum so thought I'd share experiences. I'm a 70-yr-old male; suffered RLS for seven years. GP says I got it because of a campylobacter infection. Aside from temporary food-poisoning, this can also cause permanent neurological damage like RLS. My symptoms are the obvious uncontrollable

Disappointment in the healthcare in the UK
Hi guys !!! I am here to rant Because I am really disappointed . A few months ago I had a very random incident where I woke up at 6am in the morning needing to vomit ( I rarely feel sick) so this was strange, this was accompanied by an excruciating stitch pain in my groin , it was so intense I could

RLS free for a week!
Hi everyone - I did a previous intro post where I'd just started talking to my GP about iron tests etc to see if we could identify any cause of my RLS (5-6 episodes a night for more than 9 years, sort of managed up until now with magnesium oil). First tests showed mild anaemia, and that's as far as we'd

Neurologist for RLS- frustrated
I finally saw the neurologist for RLS. She wants me to take Horizant, and balked at giving me low dose a Tramadol because I’m breastfeeding. (Tramadol does not cause issues in breastfeeding, which is why unwanted to try it. EVERY other drug for RLS does.) Told me to stay on the ropinerole at .50 mg

Private healthcare advise
Hi So I’m thinking of joining bupa as I’m sick of being in constant pain on tramadol and waiting for gyny. I just want to get back to work. Has anyone gone private? Do they cover laparoscopy and surgery including hysterectomys? Many thanks

Has anyone augmented on Tramadol
I’ve read that augmentation on Tramadol is rare but I think I may be augmenting already. Did so on Recuip after about 8 months now after only 2 months same appears to be happening on Tramadol. I was so happy thinking I found something to help me. 50mg Tramadol and some THC Edibles and I was doing pretty

RLS in my hands?
Hi Everyone I don’t know if anyone has experienced this, but a few nights ago it felt as though I was getting RLS in both my hands. Highly unpleasant! I’m not one of the sufferers who feels pain with this horrible disease, I get a sensation which I would describe as my muscles “itching”, or the feeling
