Sorry you are struggling, it’s not pleasant by any stretch.
I’m finding Amitriptyline helps a bit with nerve pain with either Tramadol or Oramorph.
Are you on the pill to try and balance hormones ?
Was the diagnosis with lap or scan?
Laparoscopy diagnosis. I can't take the pill for other health reasons. It is so awful. The pain I am in is awful. I keep crying which isn't like me.
The pain can be horrendous, is there any particular time it’s worse for you?
Would a progesterone only pill/ cream be the same for your other conditions?
I tidied up a drawer earlier as it hadn’t been too bad. After throwing out some bits, put drawer back in and then had to try and fix it, and it all kicked off again 🙄
Are you taking the painkillers regularly or as and when? When the pain nurse at A&E said Tramadol, it was one, four times a day. She said to take it regularly, not just when the pain starts. I saw the pain consultant and he suggested the amitriptyline, and stick with Oramorph. I can’t take it if I’m going to drive.
Did your GP give you any advice?
When you had lap did they not treat at the same time?
Have you been referred to a specialist centre?
I do find the magnesium spray works a bit, but also makes my skin itch, so catch 22 on that one. A muscle freeze spray isn’t too bad sometimes.
I really hope you can find something that helps, even a little.
3rd and 4th weeks is the worse but I am in pain alot of the time. Advised to take trandomol 4 times a day regularly. When had lap they scrapped away some of the endometriosis but waiting of appointment coming through to have more scrapped away. I was advised to take magnesium, use hot water bottle or wheat bag, take painkillers, take my anti sickness tablets, hot baths, listen to my body. I have been referred to a specialist centre. I have just found out this week that I am really anaemic too so now on iron tablets too.
Looks like you are doing all the right things, hopefully the iron may help, balance things a bit more.
I know I need laxatives each day with whatever is happening inside. This does cause pain if I don’t. If this is part of the problem maybe speak to GP. It’s common with endo, but doesn’t always cause issues.
I hope you don’t have much longer to wait.
Have you tried a TENS machine ? Mine really helped , also I’ve started taking NAC supplements, only been on it a month but looks promising for helping with the pain, if you Google it there is lots of promising reports
