Pre-surgical help needed please
I’m a long-time member here and need some medication guidance. Beginning Temgesic
Hi. I have picked up my prescription today for Temgesic. but am now a little concerned. The neurologist. sent a care plan with the tablets which said I should just take half a tablet at bedtime but at the same time to keep taking the Tramadol which to my mind seems wrong. Good afternoon, I was diagnosed with Intermittent AF in January last year. I had my first episode in January 2021 and was Cardioverted. This only lasted 3 weeks and then I had an episode lasting approx 4 weeks which reverted spontaneously. I have had none since. I am currently suffering from right knee

1st round Jevtana/Carboplatin chemo treatment completed.
Updated blood work 3 weeks after initial treatment completed showed PSA drop of almost 80 percent, from 62 to 14! AST and ALT liver enzymes spiked up. MO felt that 2nd chemo treatment should be delayed 1 week to allow liver enzymes to decline by drinking a lot more water each day. Otherwise, there

Pain meds stronger than tramadol?
Hi, Suffer from really bad endo pain and have been on tramadol for about 3-4 years. I'm finding it's really not cutting it anymore (as well as giving me crippling insomnia). I'm having a chat with my endo nurse on Monday and am hoping I can persuade her to tell my GP to prescribe me something stronger

Waiting to be tested for endometriosis. Any advice on pain while I wait to be seen by a gynaecologist please.
I'm 35yrs old, I suffer from gastritis, IBS, mental health issues and my doctors suspects I have endometriosis. I'm awaiting a pelvic scan and to be seen by a gynaecologist, as been referred a month ago and know there will be quite a wait to be seen. My doctor has placed me on the mini pill, and this

Tramadol works!!!!
I’ve been taking tramadol for almost 20 years now and it works. We moved to a different state and had a hard time getting a doctor to prescribe it. For two months I suffered without it. I finally got a doctor to prescribe it and again my RLS was 100% better. Tramadol has a bad rap because 5 years ago

At last a result
I have been seeing a neurologist for a couple of months now as I have really severe RLS day and night I have posted before so some of you may remember the 91 year old lady still fighting to get some quality of life. As the Tramadol has stopped working ,although I am still taking four tabs a day because

Tramadol - Anxiety
Hi for my endo pain and pelvic pain I’ve been taking tramadol with paracetamol. I’ve been on this since getting the coil fitted but the pain has been more frequent. This may be stupid but I take 50mg x 1 or 2 tablets 2/3/4 times a day depending on my pain. I definitely wake up in agony in the mornings

I rarely cross post to Patient Power but today there is a story by a fellow CLL patient I have known for many years as DebinOz. She is one of the few I know of with a more aggressive form of CLL than mine. And I think she has more air miles than my 750,000 with United. Len - See: https://patientpower.info

Hi everyone, I'm new too all this. Currently undergoing tests to determine the cause of my pain for the last 6 years. Rheumatologist has suggested fibromyalgia and that's before he's ran any tests. Currently awaiting blood tests but not sure if I should be asking for more. I have really struggled with
