Advice. Morphine sulphate (MST) 5mg prolonged release. Or stay on tramadol.
Hi all. Haven't posted for a while. I’ll update you on my RLS journey and ask for advice on the above. Last time I posted I was going through a rough patch with my long standing insomnia where getting 4-5 hours nightly for years was ok, then went to having 0-1 hours and maybe 6hours after being awake

Possible vertebral fracture in neck
Hi all, I already have six vertebral fractures L1-5,T13 and maybe more higher up but can’t travel for xrays etc. Now what started as a ‘cricked’neck has got so bad I think it may be a fracture? Was warned my OP could cause neck problems- does this mean fractures?Using ice pax,hot bots, already on Fentanyl

Clenching Syndrome? (like teeth clenching, but with leg muscles instead of jaw muscles)
While I'm asleep, my leg muscles continuously clench all night long. So when I wake up in the morning, my legs are very uncomfortable. All day long, my legs have a deep muscle ache that won't go away. Rubbing them makes the pain go away, but the pain comes right back when I stop rubbing. Does anyone

CBD Oil
I’m wondering if anybody knows if it is ok to use CBD oral oil whilst taking 225mg Pregabelin and 50mg Tramadol (once daily at night). I also take 100mg Levothyroxine, 5mg Rosuvastatin and 2.5mg Ramipril for blood pressure. I have recently had some calming relief from taking a bath with CBD oil

Does Temgesic work for everyone?
I have been taking half a tablet of Temgesic for a month now but as I didn’t find any relief I have titrated up to one tablet over the last three nights. I am still having no results at all. Does anyone know what is the largest dose that can be taken safely and is there anyone else whose body seems

Opioid withdrawal/ management advice
Hi. I have been taking opiods for many years. First codeine, which stopped working. I moved on to Tramadol and now Morphine. I have never suffered withdrawal symptoms whilst stopping an opioid because once a week I have a night drug free. I am doing this whilst on Morphine too in anticipation of

I’m wondering if anyone has tried a rotational medication regime (i.e. Tramadol for 1 week, Requip for 10 days, Gabapentin for 7 days - rinse and repeat) and what thier experiences were like?

Tramadol Tolerance
I have had severe RLS for over 10 years, was initially on dopamine agonists (until I augmented!) and been on Tramadol (100mg/day) plus Gabapentin (1200mg/day) for over 8 years. My Ferritin level is usually about 75 so I am currently trying to raise it. I tried Bisglycinate for 3 months without any improvement

Augmentation & Tramadol? What next
Not sure what to do now. I came off 0.5mg Ropinirole about 4 years ago and found 100mg of Tramadol was sufficient to give me on most nights 8 hours sleep. But I seem now to be developing augmentation. I am writing this after 3 hours sleep! I have stretched my legs but still suffering. I am now wondering

Why is RLS affecting my arms for the first time now that I’m off pramipexole?
I finally weaned off pramipexole 19 days ago and for the past three nights not only have my legs been jumping nineteen to the dozen as they’ve always done, but my arms have too! This never happened when I was taking pramipexole so I wonder if anyone can tell me why it’s happening now? I’m taking 300

PAIN EVERYDAY - What to do
My pain has been so frequent recently making me vomit and dizzy. I’m under a lot of stress with uni atm and many so I know my body is exhausted. I’m trying to stop taking strong pain killers like tramadol but sometimes the pain is unbearable I can’t even walk or get up. I have not had an operation yet

Does tramadol keep you awake?
I use tramadol for RLS symptoms- but it's like an amphetimine to me. It relieves my symptoms for up to 2 hours, but then I'm wide awake. So I sleep 5am to noon. Anyone else?

How is it still an acceptable comment?
Hi there! Hope you’re all doing ok. I went to the doctors this week to discuss new pain medication - I’ve exhausted the options over the last 6 years but have now been told to stop everything and take one tramadol at night as well as paracetamol and ibuprofen. I explained that the paracetamol & ibuprofen

Pramipexole is the key
I’ve been taking 100 mg of tramadol and 1 mg of pramipexole for a while now and it works really well. For years I just took tramadol and it worked 80% of the time. By adding pramipexole an hour before sleep it’s close to 100% effective. No side effects. Try it you’ll like it.
