Taking 2 tramadol the next day symptoms

Does anyone else get really tired the next day after taking tramadol and unwell I have a temperature and feel awful I have no energy I did take Codeine with the tramadol because of pain but I only realised after you can’t take the two together. Can anyone relate ?

Hi. How long have you been taking it for? The first 6 weeks I was taking it I felt awful, I was taking a various things as I could barely get out of bed to get to the bathroom but after 4/6 weeks it settled and it really helped, I did still have bad days but it made it possible for me to function more than I was. Have you seen the pain clinic? They also helped as I wasn’t taking it effectively either to manage the pain. Xx

Literally the first time I have tried them I took 100mg I think as I took 2 honestly I don’t think I could take them again I felt like a zombie so weak and like Iv had the flu today

Hi. How are you feeling? As moonglo said the pain team said I was leaving taking the medication to late and the pain was to far gone. Tramadol is also a strong drug, it took 6 weeks before I wasn’t getting side effects but it did help once my body had got used to it. Have you tried the endo diet? This also helped with my flare ups. Xx

Hello! Maybe it’s the timing? I find that if I take painkillers when the pain is intense, I get very tired and spaced out. My theory is that the painkiller/body is having to work harder, and it takes more out of you. If I take painkillers when I get warning signs for the pain, I find the painkillers are more effective and I feel more normal.
