Opioid withdrawal/ management advice
Hi. I have been taking opiods for many years. First codeine, which stopped working. I moved on to Tramadol and now Morphine. I have never suffered withdrawal symptoms whilst stopping an opioid because once a week I have a night drug free. I am doing this whilst on Morphine too in anticipation of

Rotational Medication Regime
I’m wondering if anyone has tried a rotational medication regime (i.e. Tramadol for 1 week, Requip for 10 days, Gabapentin for 7 days - rinse and repeat) and what thier experiences were like?

Tramadol Tolerance
I have had severe RLS for over 10 years, was initially on dopamine agonists (until I augmented!) and been on Tramadol (100mg/day) plus Gabapentin (1200mg/day) for over 8 years. My Ferritin level is usually about 75 so I am currently trying to raise it. I tried Bisglycinate for 3 months without any improvement

Totally off topic but worried and need to vent
Been a mad 3 days with my hubby and I feel sort of shellshocked but also I have the nagging doubts that I also need to get my head round. Sunday he was working and when he came home said he had smacked the top of his head badly and had a headache, he was convinced bleeding but checked and all Ok. He

Augmentation & Tramadol? What next
Not sure what to do now. I came off 0.5mg Ropinirole about 4 years ago and found 100mg of Tramadol was sufficient to give me on most nights 8 hours sleep. But I seem now to be developing augmentation. I am writing this after 3 hours sleep! I have stretched my legs but still suffering. I am now wondering

Why is RLS affecting my arms for the first time now that I’m off pramipexole?
I finally weaned off pramipexole 19 days ago and for the past three nights not only have my legs been jumping nineteen to the dozen as they’ve always done, but my arms have too! This never happened when I was taking pramipexole so I wonder if anyone can tell me why it’s happening now? I’m taking 300

PAIN EVERYDAY - What to do
My pain has been so frequent recently making me vomit and dizzy. I’m under a lot of stress with uni atm and many so I know my body is exhausted. I’m trying to stop taking strong pain killers like tramadol but sometimes the pain is unbearable I can’t even walk or get up. I have not had an operation yet

Does tramadol keep you awake?
I use tramadol for RLS symptoms- but it's like an amphetimine to me. It relieves my symptoms for up to 2 hours, but then I'm wide awake. So I sleep 5am to noon. Anyone else?

How is it still an acceptable comment?
Hi there! Hope you’re all doing ok. I went to the doctors this week to discuss new pain medication - I’ve exhausted the options over the last 6 years but have now been told to stop everything and take one tramadol at night as well as paracetamol and ibuprofen. I explained that the paracetamol & ibuprofen

Pramipexole is the key
I’ve been taking 100 mg of tramadol and 1 mg of pramipexole for a while now and it works really well. For years I just took tramadol and it worked 80% of the time. By adding pramipexole an hour before sleep it’s close to 100% effective. No side effects. Try it you’ll like it.

Pre-surgical help needed please
I’m a long-time member here and need some medication guidance. Beginning Temgesic
Hi. I have picked up my prescription today for Temgesic. but am now a little concerned. The neurologist. sent a care plan with the tablets which said I should just take half a tablet at bedtime but at the same time to keep taking the Tramadol which to my mind seems wrong. It is my understanding that

Good afternoon, I was diagnosed with Intermittent AF in January last year. I had my first episode in January 2021 and was Cardioverted. This only lasted 3 weeks and then I had an episode lasting approx 4 weeks which reverted spontaneously. I have had none since. I am currently suffering from right knee

1st round Jevtana/Carboplatin chemo treatment completed.
Updated blood work 3 weeks after initial treatment completed showed PSA drop of almost 80 percent, from 62 to 14! AST and ALT liver enzymes spiked up. MO felt that 2nd chemo treatment should be delayed 1 week to allow liver enzymes to decline by drinking a lot more water each day. Otherwise, there
