Hiya

I take a lot of epilepsy medication and was given tramadol and paracetamol. Is that safe?

Hi

It would be a good idea to speak to your pharmacist, family doctor, epilepsy nurse (if you have one) or your epilepsy specialist about this. They should be able to give advice on whether these painkillers are safe for you to take.

We aren't medically trained so unfortunately we can't say whether these painkillers could have any negative interactions with your epilepsy medicines.

I hope you hear from others on this platform, as sharing information and experiences can be a good idea. Can I just check you also know about our other services?

We are also on facebook facebook.com/epilepsyaction and twitter twitter.com/epilepsyaction.

Regards

Jess
