pramipexole withdrawal

Been off Pramipexole for 3 weeks now and have terrible muscle pain in my legs I am taking 1200 Gabapentin split in 2 doses at night plus 2 tramadol ,I can sleep for 4 hours at bedtime then jumpy legs till I get up at 8pm . I know it can take time with withdrawal symptons but it is hard trying to walk in pain and just after breaking my femur 2 months ago ,tramadol 100 mg at night not helping asked for oxycodone but was told it interferes with the Gabapentin only taking Paracetamol but not strong enough ,any Ideas to calm the muscle pain .

Breaking a femur is Extremely painful & the usual pain relief is Oxycontin. I was on gabapentin/pregabalin and Oxycontin for 5 years! Gabapentin and Oxycontin are often prescribed together and at the low doses for RLS, do not cause issues.Sadly, it can take months for the Pramipexole withdrawal to settle.

If gabapentin and tramadol do not work in another 2 months, ask your GP to consider Oxycontin as it is stronger than tramadol.
