Thyroid or Pituitary Problem?
Sorry in advance for the long essay! Desperatly hoping for some advice. I am a 30-year-old female suffering fatigue, brain fog & migraine with visual disturbances since July 2020, therefore I stopped the COCP after a 10-year use (which was prescribed for the management of menorrhagia). Pain relief failing - Help!
Hi, I’m new here but it’s been really interesting to read everyone’s posts and know I’m not going through it alone. I had a laparoscopy last June where they excised endometriosis from my pouch of Douglas. I was in agony before, so much so I had to take weeks off work (I’m a primary school teacher)

How do I stop withdrawals?
I have messaged this forum a few times and received such great advice and support. I really appreciate the willingness of everyone to advise and the compassion shown. Its great! I have finally found a sweet spot for Kratom - taking 3 teaspoons at once at night and I can get 6 to 7 hours sleep. The problem

Kratom Advice Please
Hi. I have recently come off Tramadol and gone on to Red Vein Kratom to control my severe rls. The Kratom works well but I am struggling with Insomnia. Some people have suggested that at low doses Kratom is a stimulant but at higher doses a sedative. Can anyone advise me on how many grams I should be

Insomnia query?
Good morning. I am grateful for this group. I came off Tramadol about 2 weeks ago - a bit too fast - as I was developing tolerance to it. I switched to Red Vein Kratom which a member of this forum suggested to me and which I had not heard of before. The Kratom works really well - but I am struggling

Brain Rewired after Dopamine Agonist-induced Augmentation
Hi, All. There have been a few recent comments by others suggesting that, following their discontinuance of an RLS medication, their RLS symptoms lessened or, in some instances, disappeared. Some comments concerned "patches," and some concerned tablets or capsules. Not all concerned dopamine agonists

Buprenorphine Naloxone dose
Hello again! I have had RLS for most of my life. I was taking 6mg Pramipexol per day until given better advice here on the site. I used 100 MG of Tramadol per day and in 18 months managed to cut down to .25mg Pramipexol. Then I got stuck and couldn't cut down any more. I found a Neurologist who prescribed

Opioid induced augmentation
I know it's commonly thought that Tramadol is the only opioid that causes augmentation. But I'm wondering whether anyone has suffered worsening symptoms whilst taking other opioids? I'm taking Morphine and over recent weeks I've been experiencing persistent, horrible, intrusive daytime symptoms

New GP won't prescribe Tramadol
I am asking this question on behalf of my sister. About 4 weeks ago she and her family changed GP as she could not get an appt or even speak to the Dr. Her husband had been at A&E with a very painful middle finger on her hand. After a lot of bloods X-ray etc because his lactic acid was high they diagnosed

Tramadol
Anyone using it? I have been having shooting pains at night from a bruise to my hip. Like sciatica. Have not been able to sleep at night for last 4 nights. MO suggested Tramadol may help. Looks like it only becomes addictive after long term use. Severe pain goes away during daytime.

Is it Primary RLS or Idiopathic Tramadol-induced RLS?
Hi, All. After more than 20 years of 2 x 50 mg tramadol AM and 2 x 50 mg tramadol PM (daily dose of 200 mg), I began titrating my tramadol dose several months ago. With the exception of pregabalin 1 x 50 mg that I began re-taking a little over a week ago, the only RLS-specific medication that I now

Pain and burning sensation with indwelling catheter
Hello, I have a catheter issue and I was wondering if anyone else has similar problems. I have notice pain in the head of my penis, a need to urinate and a small leakage around the catheter. My Opinion: Collateral Damage due to Discontinuance of Pramipexole

How do you know your circadian rhythm?
This week I will be starting methadone, which may be the answer for me. If effective, it would give me a chance to change my sleeping pattern from 4am to noon to something more normal. My question is this: How do I determine what my current circadian rhythm is? It might be that I actually am still
