Covid
Just had COVID and weirdly no RLS for the whole time. Ok I'm taking 0.09mg mirapex every evening. Nothing else works except tramadol which I alternate with every so often. Is there anything else that works. I've tried pregabalin and the others but nothing. I would like to stop mirapexin completely but

Updating and confused
First, I would like to say a big thank you to Jools and Sue Johnson in particular, and others on this site. I wrote on here some time ago that, because I know that a lot of MS sufferers suffer with restless legs, I was going to try oxygen therapy at our local MS Centre and want to share the results

Pain control with PLMD
I take 100 mg Lyrica for PLMD, the lowest possible dosage as I never have been able to shake the daytime sedation. Now I have some kind of pinched nerve that has been causing chronic pain. Tylenol is not sufficient (I am going to try a lidocaine patch today for the first time and hope that will help

spasms
I have been having very severe spasm and pain in both of my legs the past two nights, the worst I have experienced to date. I am on muscle relaxants and tramadol for pain and carbidopa/levodopa for Pakinson like symptoms, none of which helped 2 nights ago and I ended up falling hitting my back and

Oxycodone not working well
I have been alternating between Tramadol and Oxycodone for awhile now. I do pretty well on the Tramadol but after a month or so,, sometimes sooner, it isn’t as effective so I switch off to oxycodone. I don’t do near as well on the oxy and am wondering if it’s a dosage issue, a timing issue, or maybe

Muscle spasm and cramps
I am experiencing leg and feet muscle spasms and cramps. It happens during the night and they have me waking up and jumping off bed to stand up and stretch. The pain is unbearable on the bottom of my right foot, these are not 'regular' muscle cramps. I cannot point out which of my medications are causing

Kratom Interaction with other meds
Good morning all. I am trying to make sense of a hideous night I had last night and wondered if anyone has experience with taking Kratom alongside prescription meds? This si what happened... I have been on Kratom for 7 weeks (I used it to come off Tramadol to help with the withdrawals and also to control

Tramadol 50mg for pain management
Today I had my third infusion of Jevtana and towards the evening I had back and abdominal pain in the right lower quadrant. Prior to this, for some visceral discomfort/pain I used successfully Ibuprofen 600mg twice a day. I could sleep, walk, cook, bake. I was prescribed Tramadol 50mg., I took it a couple

Insomnia
Firstly I appreciate this group and the willingness of everyone to help. It is much appreciated. I have a question about insomnia. I came off pramipexole and eventually settled on Tramadol for 6 months , after which tolerance/augmentation started and the Tramadol was no longer effective. While I was

PMR/GCA or not
I went to Kings College hospital last week for a long delayed appointment with a Rheumy. To be told straightaway that I don't have PMR/GCA and that I should come off Pred ASAP (because of the horrific side effects.) Inflammation markers don't support the diagnosis, no PET or CT scan done, that there

Tramadol
Hello, Lovelies -- Tramadol has ceased it's magic for me. Most doctors in Mexico are not permitted to prescribe any opiates, however tramadol is OTC. I don't know if any of the other synthetic opiates are available, but will check. My question is because I have augmented on tramadol, will I have the

AF with bad ankle and back therefore problems exercising.
I am now almost never in normal Heart rhythm. It is eitherA/F, or supraventricular,or unclassified. I have a permanently swollen outer left ankle (scan says damage and arthritis) often have a pain in the left buttock relating to spinal cavity being reduced with spurs on. This means that I have problems

I'm new here. Where to go from here?
Firstly just want to say hi as I'm new here and quickly tell my story. I,ll try to keep it fairly short. I have had RLS since the age of 10 that I can remember, I'm now 55 and it has gotten worse as I get older. I have primary, genetic RLS since my dad also has it. Around 15-20 years ago it was getting

Bye Bye Tramadol
Since I started methadone a couple months ago, I understand better about the difficulties I started to have with Tramadol. BTW, I went cold turkey off Tramadol, because methadone would negate it anyway. I realize now that after 4-5 years on Tramadol I was augmenting badly. I didn't realize what was

Taking a pred break..
Hi all, I had a repeated high potassium blood test recently, and thinking it might be linked to some of my meds (propranolol/ etoricoxib) I decided to take a break from most of my meds, including pred. I've had a synacton test a few years back and always seem to retain decent adrenal response, so ceased

Rheumatologist appointment today…
I have been having a lot of problems with blood clots in my lungs the past two years. I am also having increased pain in my joints (including lower back). I have had to stop Naproxen because of the blood thinners I am on. I have had several prednisolone injections in my lower back, but the pain is still

prednisone lowering dosage

I attempted to get to 4:5mgs and boy my body went mad, on the second day at night I was so dizzy
