42 weeks of running and now my first 'injury.'
I'll still do
yoga
and upper-body weights - my other two exercise staples adopted during lockdowns 1, 2 and 3. But I really hope my new-found fitness doesn't suffer too much. Plus the mental-health benefits of running have been invaluable for me over the past 10 months.

Recovering from a Pacemaker
I knew I could not raise my left arm higher than my shoulder for 6 weeks afterwards so knew that
yoga
and Tai Chi would be shelved for the 6 weeks. As I arrived in the recovery room I was loudly and clearly reminded about not raising my arm. Got it.

Whoop whoop - I've just crossed the border on LEJOG6!!
A busy and pretty successful day: I've done my
Yoga
with Adriene, completed my longest run (11.45km) and taken the dog on a 6km walk. I've enjoyed my dinner and am now unwinding before doing final task of the week... uploading my weekly mileage for LEJOG.... AAARGH!! I DON'T believe it....

But it did feel like an easy 8k, legs felt great (thank you
Yoga
with Adriene), my breathing was controlled, and the time just flew by. And that is saying a lot, as my runs are quite long as I run so slow.

Diagnosed 3 years ago on my 51 birthday ,what a great gift lol 😂
So I started with some life style changes, switched my diet to vegetable based one, took various supplements and rso cannabis oil, did
yoga
and Qi gong, long walks and bike riding every day, than started with robotic prostatectomy following with adt+abiraterone for two years and radiation to my pelvis

Anyone else fancy jumping on board the Yoga with Adriene train? 🧘♀️ 🙏🏻
Adriene is a wonderful
yoga
instructor and her YouTube classes are accessible to all, whether you’re a rank beginner like I was when I first started practising with her nearly 3 years ago, or whether you’re already a seasoned yogi.

Back to 5k - Hooray!
I have managed Adriene's wonderful Breath
yoga
, but the running has been on the slide which opened the door to pesky gremlins and that way danger lies.....😱. The problem was, the longer the gap between runs the more the pesky gremlins began to mutter and I began to question if I could make 5k.

Training Decisions and Knee Niggles
.🐣 - Continue doing
Yoga
, specific running exercises and/or knee Pilates 🧘🏻♀️ My thinking is that even though I have run now since April 2020, for my tendons, muscles, ligaments and bones around my knees, this is still early days.

Keeping up appearances
I am part of a group that runs FREE exercise &
yoga
zoom sessions for any that have ended up in ICU( we self fund everything) - our members have a wide range of conditions but all want to ‘reclaim the dark’. We are UK based but zoom opens up the world - the only challenge is time difference.

***Trigger Warning - Sexual abuse, domestic abuse - GASLIGHTING - TESTIMONY
I did
yoga
. But I felt to be so powerless to been in that situation. How on earth someone who pretended to be the ideal man and father could do such things. Yes, I wasn't entirely myself once I give birth, yes, I went through a lot physically and emotionally.

BREATH 2021 Day 25 - 30: Let us know how it’s going
I don’t seem to need the roller as much as before, as
Yoga
seems to give me a good flexibility workout. My knees now seem to be able to take a bit more pressure and I can kneel for short periods on the mat, for short moments even without blankets. So what has improved in your practice?

Tips for surviving fatigue when tapering - now on 6mg and going down
Exercise (
yoga
) helps (I am an x dancer) but still recovering from bilateral tendinopathy so long walks are still out. Any help, no matter how small is gratefully received especially for fatigue, memory and mental focus. Thank you so much.

IT Band knee pain for months - help!
So far I've tried periods of rest, stretching,
yoga
and a bit of massage and changing my gait, but it just won't improve enough for me to run regularly. Any advice?

Another lunchtime 5k run
Ohh, that bounce, where my steps suddenly become jaunty, my posture more upright, my breath more rhythmic and my hands and arms do that conductor thing, their own kind of
yoga
,- just because. That’s my bounce that I love. And the amount of bounce changes, so I wonder, where is my bounce meter?

Navigating endometriosis naturally
And I have done a somatic
yoga
training about releasing trauma through movement which has helped me navigate pain management in my own way with my own body and has taught me psoas releases that help with these kind of issues.
