How S&F changed me ….
January I embarked on my first daily
Yoga
routine, taking up the January YWA Challenge BREATH, and from then on a daily Strength and Flexibility session, some short some long, have been part of my daily routine. We also converted a corner of the living room into a workout corner 😊💪🧘🏼♂️🏋️.

What is the point of life if you are unable to experience joy?
I have been on every kind of medication you can imagine, some with severe side effects, seen a counsellor on a regular basis, seen a psychiatrist on a regular basis, completed self-help workbooks and tried to improve my physical health with diet and exercise (including
yoga
).

Windy, icy, sunny 30 min run
After I slightly over-extended my toes from slipping on my
Yoga
mat this morning, I thought I’d take it easy with just a short 30min lunchtime run. And of course it was my first run as a 10k graduate, after finishing the Magic Plan!

Iodine and underactive thyroid
(
Yoga
)The reason I looked into iodine supplements is that I don't eat much fish or dairy products(maybe once every 3 months I'll eat apiece of fish) , I do have milk every day (in coffee and sometimes cereals) and cheese maybe once a fortnight.

Shin pain, so is this shin splints?
If so, I guess I’ll have to do more cycling,
yoga
and other workouts for a couple of weeks instead :(

Should I reduce or stop my running? - low peak flow and low oximetry readings recently & after running
I don't smoke, avoid all known allergens, try to avoid walking on polluted roads (although I do live just off an A road in the middle of a city), I take my peak flow regularly, take my inhalers regularly, use a spacer, wash my mouth out, I eat healthy foods and even do
yoga
a couple of times a week.

Last week of YWA BRIDGE!
Time flies when you’re having
Yoga
fun! So how is everyone keeping up with their
Yoga
practice? I’m liking BRIDGE, but many prefer the January challenges. So what are your
Yoga
practice plans beyond February?

My RLS story - Augmentation, Detox, Life back
I decided to listen to more ambient music and I am looking into
Yoga
for my anxiety. Next, I am going to start putting milk into my tea – who knows. Cheers all

Morning metronomic runs
After struggling to decide wether I should reserve my mornings for running or for
Yoga
, the weather decided for me. There was no way I was going to spent the valuable gorgeous weather inside, so out first thing for a 4.7k run!

Kick start
Hot
yoga
was like an escape in the winter. Now turning on a video or livestream is so hard. So then eating right is hard because I’m feeling lethargic due to less exercise and then the weight gain follows.

The Power Of Exercise/Massage
Walking, running, cycling,
yoga
etcetera are just a few different ways. It needn`t be boring. Of course some people may not be physically able to do those things.

Feeling alone with my thoughts
and sadness ,I thought I have been doing well the past year with my healing journey and now am in a familiar low point in my life that I know too well, I feel fragile and delicate and too sensitive where everything around me is more of a trigger and am trying to be ok and to do healthy habits like

Low FT3 Low FT4 with T3/4 treatment, what is going on?
- I am gluten and dairy free, and since 4 weeks am following an autoimmune diet - Since 16 months or so, I have started running and then daily
Yoga
. Running is super slow Japanese jogging, which keeps heart rate down, and advice is to run at a speed where one can still have a conversation.

Thought provoking and the conclusion is to enjoy life.
I once knew a lady who taught
Yoga
and her obsession almost killed her,and now the poor lady is confined to a wheelchair and is housebound and cannot walk at all. Everything in moderation is the key.
