Exercise
I have tried walking,
yoga
, Pilates, tai chi but all are so painful. I also have hyper mobility which makes it harder as I have to be aware not to over work my body!

Rope skipping
In any case, for today I am going to put down one of my
yoga
mats (I have 2) to protect the floor and to give a bit of cushioning. A bit scared that the mat might not last and get damaged by the rope shipping.

Apparently Fishing is now being prescribed on the NHS
I think I’ll stick with my
yoga
and meditation but it is good to see the NHS is open to things other than medication.

New member osteoporosis questions
I ask as I did
yoga
(can't while wrist recovering) and am very supple in my spine with only a little back pain occasionally on waking which disappears as soon as I start to move around. 2. What do you consider the best exercise for osteoporosis?

Budge up (please) - is there room for me on the IC?
Its even stopped me enjoying the
yoga
which I’ve done religiously every day this year (YWA as recommended by many on Strength & Flex)... tho I can’t quite bring myself to try ‘armchair
yoga
for seniors’ as its title is such a turn-off but perhaps I should!

53% towards 22,320: a space chat-challenge odyssey (15/05/2021)
It meant I almost forgot to do my daily
Yoga
practice, ending up doing them as a pyjama practice in bed! So what challenges your daily practice? Evening work? A partner hogging the workout corner? Adriene announcing a ‘whole body practice’? Tiredness or simply forgetfulness? Let us know.

Just an update....
I have been watching video clips today of
Yoga
for the wheelchair bound. Really informative and I think I've found a good lady to help me get started.

HHM Training: Week 1 Day 3
I’m going to instigate short
yoga
sessions into my training also. It’s only been 3 days and I’m already on an exercise high. Who needs drugs?

Things I do to combat migraine.
•
Yoga
or another good stretching routine, plus regular activity both physical and mental, combined with a proper sleep regime are all great as remedies and preventatives too. •Positive mental attitude helps. •Do your research and experiment in a positive and safe manner.

Acute pain in daily lives
Back pain can also be cured with various home remedies such as Hot packs, exercise,
yoga
and many more. But if the pain still persist for long then you can choose Carisoprodol as it blocks the pain sensation to reach the brain.

Extremely depressed
I’m frustrated because I’m doing everything right to fight this depression, I’m eating healthy, exercising, seeing my family, going on hikes, meditating and doing
yoga
but nothing seems to work. My depression is at an all time high today. Anyways, I would love some support or someone to talk to.

Cultivating compassion in our lives
A reminder from one of my yin
yoga
teachers, Sarah Lo, which I share with you below: ‘Tonglen, meaning “accepting and sending out,” is one of the most powerful and intense compassion meditations in the Buddhist tradition.

Do you know about the Highly Sensitive Person? Do you see the strengths in this trait? Are you a HSP? Did you feel shame for your needs?
My son actually became a
yoga
instructor, he mediated, he kept a gratitude journal for 10 years, he has gone on 10 day fasts, he exercised . . . He could not sleep. He said, "All I want is a simple life with my wife, and I can't even have it." As I said, he had a faulty fight or flight reflux.

Runners’ yoga?
So tonight I’ve tried a
yoga
session (
Yoga
for Runners, with Adriene) - let’s see if I can keep that up on my non-running days and if it helps...Has anyone been through similar, and if so, what worked?
