Increasing Vagal Tone
Just read in the Good Health Naturally magazine a useful article on the VN and a handy summary of ways to increase Vagal Tone: Regular exposure to cold water Slow breathing down to 6 per minute using vocal chords ie singing, humming, gargling or chanting meditation

Warm up today included a deep stretch

To date I’ve stuck to
yoga
and walking but I’d love to get back outside and do some light jogging… I think it would make we feel better. I used to run twice a week religiously and then cut back when I got on the IVF machine. Is it okay for me to get back out there? I’m thinking <5ks.

Back again!
So this morning I put on my
yoga
kit and I picked up the
yoga
where I'd left off. Couldn't do all of it but it was lovely to be moving again. The sun is shining so later I might try a very gentle walk/run. Maybe back to square one but I'm back!

Headaches
Yoga
and meditation aren't working. Has anybody any ideas please. They aren't the only thing that's bothering me but they are the most debilitating.

Not sure yoga is for me but I did it!
Day one of
yoga
with Adrienne Flow. I skipped the kneeling part remembering last time when I damaged my knees because I can't and never could kneel. The rest was fine, I will keep going for a bit but even though I know how good it is I'm not sure it's for me.

Financial support
Hot tubs and massage help tremendously but are expensive when you can only work part-time (due to fibo) I do
yoga
at home as this is supposed to help, also have regular hot baths...........I just wish there was more help for all of us financially living with pain.

I’m not overweight, get plenty of exercise, practice
yoga
, don’t have caffeine at all and only the occasional glass of wine at the weekend. Is this associated with PMR or is it a side effect of pred?

Hello Everyone
I'm married for 18 years to a Pilates Instructor and I've never done Pilates or
Yoga
. Absolutely ridiculous 😀. I don't do Strength and Flex work either.

Ankle pain and knee pain
It seemed to get a somewhat better, but has never gone away, but I started back to
yoga
after a 3 week break. However, the discomfort is now annoying especially when I am walking as it now is on top of foot at ankle and and inside lower shin. Have I over stretched the soft tissue in
yoga
?

Kripalu Yoga sprinkle spices for Inflamation!
In my 'rowdier' days and living in Maine in 2011, I traveled to the Kripalu
Yoga
Center in western Massachusetts. The meals were SO healthy and SO good, Ayurvedic eating, which I don't practice at home for sure. On each table in the dining hall was a shaker, like a large salt or pepper shaker.

Back in the saddle….
I’ve been doing
yoga
for a year so had lulled myself into a false sense of security thinking I was pretty supple and fit … but I was wrong! Started week 1 again on Saturday and was shocked to find out how hard it was and how many new muscles I was using!
