Working out after AFIB
I'm back to weight training,
yoga
, walking and rowing (on machine), but am nervous about getting my heart rate too high. My history: 3 (that I knew of) episodes of AFIB) then put on Flecainde.

11 weeks to go
I started the day with 10 minutes morning
yoga
, moved on to washing my car, hoovered it out and polished it inside. Cut the grass, then cut the grass out the back which is much bigger. 11 weeks to go and a 15 minutes recovery run. We went along the river and boy it's hot.

Waiting ‘impatiently’ for my next run - on the IC for now.
so I’ve joined a kayaking and paddle boarding club which I am going to twice a week to keep me busy, still doing my
yoga
and stretches and praying I can get back to running soon.

I also do all the other good stuff gluten free,
yoga
, not over exerting etc etc. I do often feel drained in an afternoon, I can’t take a nap as I would like as I have the school run. If I take an adrenal cocktail - orange juice, potassium and salt, I instantly feel better.

Hello, I'm new to this group but not to PD
We start with seated Tai Chi and move into Chair Dance
Yoga
and then we end with some easy Pilates stretching on the floor. My Parkinson's is progressing slowly, but lately it's seems more in the forefront of my day, occupying my time and head space.

Just diagnosed
I'm generally very healthy; pescatarian for 40 years, never smoked, very little alcohol, exercise in the form of walking and
yoga
. I'm aged 59. Any advice and tips would be wonderful, thank you.

A new stage of recovery
I started Saturday with 30 minutes pilates and Sunday with Adrienne
yoga
for back pain. I did a 20 minute exercise routine on my return both days. This morning I did 35 minutes of pilates, some stretching, a 5/5/5/5 session of walking and running. Last week's 3 x 3 minute runs were easy.

QOL Arm wrestling
Next thing I knew she was out of her seat and putting the full weight of her
yoga
body on top of my arm as she pressed it into the table. She claimed victory and would not consent to a rematch. I could not stop laughing. This is one competitive Woman. I think I will keep her anyway.

new myocarditis MRI results; what now?
And from a practical, patients'-experience point of view, if you've had myocarditis, and continued on the rest-rest-and-more-rest plan, when did you feel good starting things like slow walking and
yoga
again? He gave no instructions on that side of things.

Yoga class
If anyone lives in the DFW area of Texas and is interested in
yoga
to help with movement and balance let me know. . My
yoga
instructor has done a bit of learning and has helped me a lot. Would like to get some more folks in the class to see if it offers benefits to others, I am sure it will.

Spoon life
So I settled for a bit of
yoga
, some pilates, meditating in the theatre's quiet space, then stretching on the floor of the green room, as actors are entirely used to the strange behaviour of fellow humans ... So today was my delayed running day.

Not sure how to proceed with anxiety and depression
I want to make changes so that I feel better (
yoga
, exercise, journaling, therapy, etc.) but sometimes it all just feels useless when I know that at any time because of life events the feelings can return. Does anyone else relate to this? What do you all do during these periods?

You've got to walk a little, talk a little... sit in the sun and rest a little...
I have always enjoyed
yoga
, but not a fanatic, but have done classes , in the past... I have done many of the YWA challenges too, posted for us by @CBDB...and currently, I am finding
yoga
very helpful and versatile too.
