Week #48: DEXCOM (Semana núm. 48: DEXCOM)
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great Wednesday so far. Sorry I hadn't had the chance today to do any posting until now, but I've been extremely busy this week. ¡Hola cada uno! Espero que tuviera un gran miércoles hasta ahora. Lamentable no había tenido la posibilidad hoy para hacer cualquier fijación

Blood blister after surgery
About 4.5 weeks after abdominal surgery, wound looked almost healed, then what looks like a blood blister has appeared. Oozing some blood and dark surrounding but no pain or warmth. Anyone else have this, and should I get it checked urgently?

Could I have an infection?
I had my laparoscopy last Friday, so just over a week ago and I was told to shower after 48hours and to not touch/remove my dressings until 10days later (which will be tomorrow). However I've noticed that the dressing has some pus/discharge underneath it. I've also noticed a slight lingering smell coming

Netflix and Chill@will
Almost 5 weeks later and my
wounds
are healing well. From leaving the hospital the most pain I felt was the brutal discomfort of wind and constipation. 😯 Thankfully no bleeding. ☺☺ My eldest introduced me to Netflix to keep my ass quiet 😂 and it has worked.

I had a lap done 5 weeks ago, I have 3 incisions which are all healing ok. The one which is causing me issues is the one by my belly button. I still feel very bruised and am not able to touch the area - is this normal?

3 months post surgery diarrhea
I had an incarcerated hernia in January where they had to remove 11 cm of my small bowel. I have had chronic diarrhea ever since. And abdominal swelling. I mentioned it to my surgeon and family doctor and both felt this was normal. How long will this last?

Reconstruction
Hi to all. I'm seeing my breast surgeon on Monday to talk about reconstruction and possible mastectomy on the other side. I had my first mastectomy and nodal clearance in June 2014 and had a skin saving implant put in at the same time so I have skin there already. I've decided that I would also like

Weeks 39 & 40: DEXCOM and FREE sensor on its way (Semanas 39 & 40: DEXCOM y sensor LIBRE en su camino)
Sorry this took a while to type up, but things have been keeping me extremely busy lately...... It's been those kinds of days when everyone and everything seems to go faster than you do. Lamentable esto llevó un rato para escribir a máquina, pero las cosas me han estado guardando muy ocupado últimamente

Random Musings
Some in the community may have noticed that my recent posts here are a bit more abstract & unusual than others. I am in the process of publishing a series of short stories , or 'memoirs', on PTSD, as I am a long time healthcare worker/ childhood trauma survivor who has battled with it all of her life

Correct Thyroid treatment?? Why is this an impossible ask.....
I've recently been diagnosed, Under Active - Autoimuinne. Fairly new to this site. I have been reading a lot of posts on here, Trying to knowledge myself to aid my recovery and symptoms. It just totally amazes me that we all have different levels of symptoms etc we are expected to live with on a daily
