Lap and pain

I had a lap done 5 weeks ago, I have 3 incisions which are all healing ok.  The one which is causing me issues is the one by my belly button.  I still feel very bruised and am not able to touch the area - is this normal?

Hi the belly button can take longer to heal as it can be quite moist, but if you are concerned give GP a call and get it checked just Incase there is an infection.

When I had my lap the belly button incision was no longer bruised or painful by 5 weeks. I agree with JeanOsborne that it would be good to call your doctor to check in case there could be an infection.
