Hey everyone, Little about me. I'm a student at university currently studying design and for my project I'm looking at creating an endometriosis tracker, I have not been diagnosed but have all the symptoms and I am booked in to have a diagnostic laparoscopy at the start of April. I Hope you don't mention

I've checked the
wounds
and they both seem to be healing really well. Does any one know how long I should keep them on for? Thank you xx

Laparoscopy
Hi all, I am due to have my diagnostic laparoscopy next Tuesday. All this week I have been suffering with a cold. Does anyone know if this could stop my surgery and can speak from personal experiences? I'm hoping it will be gone by Tuesday but who knows with these colds!

Hi, new to site
I was diagnosed August 2013, lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemo and then rads. Had reconstruction last June and second stage of recon last week. Suddenly it seems to have hit me that this may not be it - generally really positive so wondered if anyone else feels this way?

Pleural rub
Hi. I had a Pleurodesis using Talc when I was 16, I am now 37 and have been having these symptoms, which I can only describe as Pleural Rub, on and off for about 10 years. I was just wondering if anyone else, who has had a similar operation, are experiencing the same thing? Thanks,

Slow to Heal
Can anyone tell me why
wounds
are taking longer to heal - is it my age? - 76 - or is it the medication - Fostair and Salbutamol? I often cut or knock myself on arms or legs in the garden. If the skin does not break on my arms they are usually covered in blood bruises just under the skin.

I had my left breast removed on December 28. I will be starting reconstruction soon. I'm in pain every day even on the pain meds. Is this normal?

Bleeding... Again!
Never ever had a problem with
wounds
bleeding before (this was my 3rd lap for endo), so really baffled as to why it's so bad this time - has anyone ever had this sort of thing happen before? I haven't done any bending down etc this morning - only standing up for a couple of hours at the most!?!

Post-Op Stitches
Wonder if someone could give me a bit of advice... I had my 3rd laparoscopy 3 weeks ago yesterday (21st December) & as usual had dissolve-able stitches. The stitch on my belly button came out at the beginning of last week but the other 2 are holding fast - the one at my bikini line won't budge, but

Wound healing
Hey, I had a hysterectomy 8 weeks ago, had complications with my wound, it got infected and I've had 3 surgeries to 'debride' it (clean it out). I have a VAC dressing on now, I've had it for 4 weeks and it's going to take another 4-6 weeks to heal. Has anyone got any experience of them? It's smelling
