Hi, has anyone ever had maggot treatment for an ulcer wound that's not healing

I had my surgery on the 14th Sep, I have 6/7 incision wounds which are healing nicely. The hospital didn’t advise me on when I can swim again, was anyone told when they could ? Thank you ! xx

I decided that I was done licking my wounds, and feeling alone...and I decided to make my own happy holiday celebration with my cat and I....yep....we got some great stuff to eat, cat included, and bought something I liked and really wanted to treat myself with.

5 weeks in following open heart surgery and a subsequent pacemaker fitting the 3 puncture wounds in my stomach are still causing me problems. My other wounds seem to be healing nicely but am still having to wear dressings on the 3 puncture wounds. They are still weeping and causing problems.

I have 4 wounds and just wondering when I should change the dressings? Can't believe the nurse never advised me. I was too tired and in pain to remember to ask.

When water is on my wounds it stings, the nurse didn't give any information of how to take care of my wounds and when it's ok to wash my wounds. Also will the bruises on my stomach fade away?
