Follow Up With Dr
I finally saw my Dr yesterday regarding the report from my fibroscan in April , (quick recap: 360cap/21.5kpa….bmi 40…..gastro advised bariatric surgery and nothing else) I told my dr that there is no way I would have major surgery and put anaesthetic through my already bad liver, she agreed and said

My consultant told me to lose weight and I have already lost 2 stone he has said he can tell massively, he told me I had nafld and losing weight will help, but I still have the pain and my bones are starting to ache, my rib cage, pelvis and shoulder

I guess its my own fault for eating McDonald's I was reading that unexplained

could be colon cancer. I'm not sure it is unexplained as I have cut a lot of foods out. Processed foods .

weight loss and bloating loss after surgery?
so I’ve steadily gained quite a rotund stomach over the last 9 months I reckon. Since January when my bleeding and bloating became horrific. My question is - will I lose this bloating and hopefully some pounds on the scale after my surgery? Or is this life now?

Hi, Wether I use gym or go Mtn Cycling my weight stays roughly the same between 138 kgs at best to 151 kgs the heaviest, I'm baffled how it fluctuates so much and I use smart scales, I'm 6'1 and have around a 42 BMI which doest alter much so come in as morbidly obese, I'm on blood pressure tablets and

I am trying it , but having difficulty with nausea and
weight
loss
. I will stick with it if someone can tell me it is beneficial, but if not , I would rather stop it?

I have almost 2 pounds away lost six stone.
Weight
loss
is no longer a big battle. I lose about a pound a week almost effortlessly. OA has the highest long term success rate of any
weight
loss
programme and I get quite cross that the NHS never mentions it as an option.

Graves lack of appetite & feeling very low.
I have lots of symptoms, the worst for me being the
weight
loss
, I’m down to 7st 4lb now which is awful, I also have a suppressed appetite which I don’t see many other people talk about (I know you’re meant to have an increased appetite) has anyone else had issues with lack of appetite?

Updated diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disorder
I pointed out my current symptoms weren’t in the future and her response was the suggestion of further tests and x rays as she’s convinced my
weight

can’t be related to my thyroid condition. 🤔

Looking for suggestions
I'm seeing a
weight
loss
Dr and she wanted me to take low dose synthroid. The Endocrine dr disagreed because my TSH was under 5. I also got diagnosed with PBC recently which can also play a role with fatigue. Any suggestions on what I should do next.

Scared of the Future.....
He has also been belching but has not stomach pains and no
weight
loss
. Also he has been diagnosed with GERD in the past.... Are our next steps to seek a colonoscopy and an Endoscopy? Any advice, help, positive thoughts, and guidance is greatly greatly appreciated.

finally heard from gastroenterologist
hi everyone, I finally received my letter this morning regarding my fibroscan, the letter said that my kpa was 21.5 which is in the cirrhotic brackets, the iq median was 28% therefore the accuracy could be debateable, that with the high bmi the procedure was perhaps quite challenging, the cap was confirmed

Phentermine for ADHD?
I had been on Phentermine for
weight
loss
and noticed that I could focus and did not suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder in the winter. My provider then agreed to use it off-label. I did well. Then I had to change providers and the MH folks will not prescribe Phentermine.
