I've recently had a scan after increased liver enzymes and an ultrasound nine months ago which showed a fatty liver as a result. Naturally, it motivated weight loss with a cleaner diet which meant a BMI change from 31.2 to 27.1 - so quite some change !
The fibroscan results noted 4.7 KPA and 1571 IQRmed with F0 - these were noted indicate a "healthy liver" which is obviously great news.
I am however, curious about whether further weight loss to a healthier BMI and continued clean living the score would potentially be lower in twelve months time, for example.
Kinda confused about the 1590 IQRmed part though if someone could explain; the F0 part obviously made sense.
Hi NimoCibum, afraid I can't help with Fibroscan results.
But fantastic work on the BMI. I went from the obese category to overweight through diet and exercise. I'm now just 2kg away from being in the health category.
Great to hear about the positive results from the changes you've made. It seems like we're treading the same path in terms of BMI - it'll be great to well and truly land in the healthy green zone !
