Evening all, Aussie reporting in after the London Zoo 10K that I couldn't run today... Firstly, thank you to ALL of you for your kind words to date and I will reply to you soon. I thought it would be worthwhile sharing my experience of being a DNS today but still being at the race... and it was great

Disordered Eating
I need help. I have hypothyroidism and I take 150mgs. The trouble is that no matter what I do, I can't shift the weight. My eating is getting more and more disordered (I have suffered from an ED in my youth). If I am not restricting what I eat, then I am purging what I do eat (not binging though). I

GCA Eye symptoms
I'm wondering if this is also a dangerous symptom along with very temporary
loss
of
vision
, or large black spots, or a "curtain" descending down or across the eye. No question here. Just a caution.

I feel healthy & proud that my weight loss of 36.7kg in 3 & a half months is an influence that there is no need for a bariatric surgery.
N need for bariatric surgery that costs the NHS millions so pounds! ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TO CHANGE TO A HEALTHY DIET. I still want to loose another 20kg within 6 weeks. Any tips for me please?

MCT vs Coconut Oil
I recently purchased MCT oil, thinking it might be easier to take because it's more liquid in form. I noticed my tremors where worse, after having had good luck with coconut oil. So I looked up info on MCT vs Coconut oil, and found that the most important medium chain fatty acid, lauric acid, has been

O.M.G. So depressed
I made the mistake of looking at some " old " photo's , not too old two and a half years maybe. What a shock , who is that looking at me in the mirror? Sunken eyes , ratty thin hair, wrinkles on my wrinkles. How do I get myself back and is it possible? At least I was approaching ' over the hill ' when

Weight Loss Surgery.
Perhaps, most of the weight loss surgeries, in themselves, do not address cause of weight gain. Not everybody who goes through the surgery live happily 'ever after'. Our medical adviser who has done many such surgeries is personally not in favor.
